Train Valley
 –

Very nice little game

My copy was at a discounted price of $2,50 and that is a no brainer for this game. It will keep you entertained for 5 - 10 hours or longer if you are a completionist. The game let you make tracks between multiple station and micromanage the start of the trains and the direction of the switches. It is not comparable with Railroad/Transport Tycoon or Trains. Search for it on Youtube to get a good impression.

The interface is intuitive and the difficulty is just casual. Only drawback I can think of is that it is sometimes hard to see how you can layout the track, so planning up front can be difficult.

Instant buy at this price ($2,50), $10,- only if you are really into this sort of games.

This Is The Police
 –

Great entertaining game

This game is a first I have come to known of this genre. While it provides a lot of fun, there are also some dull parts, but I guess that "working" as a cop isn't only about excitement. The game puts you in front of range of ethical dilemmas that can mean the difference between the death and survival of your staff and civilians. The game puts you in between fighting for good and safety of The city and your own angst against the power-crazed mayor. Are you going to carry out the mob's and city hall's request to fill your pockets for retirement, or are you going to help the citizens of Freeburg to live peaceful and safe lives? The choice is yours!

BioShock 2: Minerva's Den DLC
 –

New and Refreshing

Well done DLC addition to,in my opinion, a prefect and flawless BioShock 2 , prior to MinDen. purchase, BioShock 2 needs updating to version 1.3 which adds Minerva's Den but not yet unlocked, after purchase a activation key is given to be able to play, "New Guns"- "New Areas" and "New Characters" gives me hours of fun and sense of accomplishment in this FPS genre, some replay value too, "GET IT YOU WONT REGRET IT"

Real nice, but not perfect

I have only played the campain mode. So this review cover only that part.
I love this kind of game. You create different kind of facillities like a fire station, or an iron mine. In some cases you need two or thee kind of facilities to get a usefull output, like a smelt that take raw iron, and creat steel, then a smithy that crete pick-axes from steel.

There are a set of different scenarios, each modelling a new town, and each with it's own goals (victory conditions). What differs this game from similar is that for each scenario you have a selected set of facilities to build. Something that is introduced in one town, may not be possible to use in another.

I give it 4 stars, since the usability could be a little better. E.g. there is a window that list what goods you have. It has a fixed limited rise, and if you have to manny goods you must change page. You cannit scroll, nor make that page bigger.

Eternal Journey: New Atlantis Collector's Edition
 –

Past to Future

The story line is very interesting. It takes us from Atlantis in the past to Mars in the future. The hidden objects reflect which phase of the game you are playing.

Awesome game with some problems

The game awesome. Unfortunately, it doesn't keep it's awesomeness during the late-game.

Neon Tango
 –

Classic

This is a classic game of world conquest in the genre of Asteroids where you destroy wave upon wave of aliens starships. Worth looking at if you are into these type of retro games.

Chateau Garden
 –

Not quite polished

This is a good, solid Match-3 game that's nicely responsive. But it's also unfinished in so many ways: the app does not respond to 'quit' and if you switch to another application you have to retrieve its window by clicking on the dock because there's no other way to un-minimise it. The garden is phoned in - this is a desktop app, and instead of one small area, that will be crammed with items when you're done (but has all of the layout from the start, a little more effort could have put into wandering around in the grounds and developing a more visually-pleasing result.
The gameplay itself is a mixture of puzzle and luck - which means that if you want to 'solve' a level by getting maximum points, you will have to replay it a number of times until luck is on your side, but you click several times to replay it where a single button would have done the trick.

All in all, fun to play, but with limited replay value.

Zombie Solitaire
 –

Amusing enough

My favourite solitaire is SevenSeas solitaire, and admittedly thats a high bar to clear, but one cannot be a pirate all the time. This has an amusing backstory, but the levels themselves are boring and somewhat phoned in - draping the cards in different ways does not distract from the fact that most of them seem to be '4-5 rows that you need to match'. There's no feel of 'level design' here; the game lacks generosity (no undo for those 'oops, didn't see that' moments, cannot play a joker after the last card) and all too often I end a session because a level has three playable cards, they're all face cards, you cannot use jokers on face cards, so you hope that a playable card turns up sooner than halfway through your deck.

I like it, and it's worth picking up on sale, but don't expect great gameplay.
