Griddlers: Victorian Picnic
 –

Half-baked game

I liked griddler puzzles, but every 8Floor game I buy has a fundamental flaw: you can spend your coins on things such as erasing mistakes, but after you've spent all your coins you find out that you can't access the things you bought! I've tried two different games and they both were the same. So what's the point of "buying" these helps when there is no way to use them!!! I'm using these games on a Macintosh that meets all the game requirements.

We Are The Dwarves
 –

Unplayable on 10.11

I briefly owned this for 40 minutes of gameplay, at which point I hit a fatal bug: on OSX 10.11 I could not interact with the dialogues. Which meant that I could not get past the second level. Up to that point, it had been a very challenging (but unimaginative) game: levels are fixed, enemies spawn in the same place if you die and behave the same, so it's more of a puzzle - what do I need to do to defeat these - than the action RPG I was hoping for.

Borderlands
 –

BL1 is the best

In my opinino this game is the best of the series. Has the best balance between story and side missions, great gun play and the system that allows you to level up a gun skill only by using that gun in my opinion should have never left the series.

Does not launch

Useless game since it won't launch. Just hangs in Steam... and no solutions offered by Support.

Europa Universalis IV: El Dorado
 –

Great expansion

Adds a whole load of new features with the best bent the nation editor. The nation editor allows you to create your own nation into the game. It's a feature that was really needed for the game and is quite powerful - allowing for the editing of religion, ideas, and pretty much everything about a nation. A great purchase - even better on special

Living Legends: Wrath of the Beast Collector's Edition
 –

Wanted to like it

Oh dear. Same old same old. Only difference is you play as a male not an eponymus princess or detective. Part way through I was bored. There are no challenges to the HO games and everything you want for a scene is in that scene, there is no chasing from scenes to complete a puzzle which adds an edge.

Cities: Skylines - Snowfall
 –

Good DLC at a low price

I've been waiting to buy this DLC for a long time, personally I love snow so this is already a bonus for me.
But the DLC is worth at this low price, there's some new content, not a lot, but I prefer to support the developers and continue getting atleast a few more DLC's and continue updating their game.

Total War™: ATTILA - Blood and Burning Pack
 –

It should have been in the game from day one

This is a very small piece of DLC that should have been in the game from day one. It's very annoying that they keep doing this with every iteration of a Total War game.

Total War™: ROME II - Blood & Gore
 –

It should have been included in the game already

Another piece of DLC that should have been included in the game upon release. It's a very annoying business practice that they should stop doing.

Total War™: ATTILA
 –

Great game, poorly optimized

Without a doubt this is another great entry in the Total War series, however you will be lucky if you can play it. The system requirements are insane and are just an excuse for bad optimization. The patches didn't help either. The visuals and the sound are amazing, you can really feel and hear the battles.

Total War™: ATTILA - Celts Culture Pack
 –

More hours of gameplay!

This is a very nice addition to the base game. It adds new factions to play as(or against), fills up the map and makes the game feel more alive.

Total War™: ROME II - Greek States Culture Pack

More good content

Extend the game time by a few hours. Pretty fun too!

Call of Duty: Black Ops
 –

Good Solid COD

COD: BLOPS is a decent COD game. It is fun, fast paced, and full of exciting set peices. The story is also well done and highly entertaining. My only complaint with it is that they need to figure out the helicopter controls. That part is very frustrating.

QUAKE 4
 –

A Classic

Quake 4 is a classic. The game isn't quite like modern shooters but it isn't also like old school games. However, it is solid fun. I haven't spent much time with the multiplayer, in fact I'm not even sure if they're is anyone on it. But this game is well worth the price. I have fond memories of playing when it first came out and I was not disappointed when I bought it and played it recently.

The Darkness II
 –

Decent Game

The Darkness II is a decent game. The graphics aren't great and the story falls apart. It starts out really interesting and thought provoking but then just turns into run of the mill revenge and mythology and supernatural. It decides to pursue the main characters inability to get over his dead girlfriend than deal with the implications that the Darkness has. The gameplay is fun; however, the controls can be a little frustrating at times. I didn't touch the multiplayer so I don't really know how that is. It's a fun game, but nothing great. Also I beat the campaign in less than 4 hours...

Max Payne 3
 –

Amazing

I love this game. it's so good. The story, the characters, the dialog, the gameplay, the graphics. The whole game is great. I had no issues running the game on my 2012 MacBook Pro. Definitely one of Rockstars best games.
