Fearful Tales: Hansel and Gretel Collector's Edition
 –

Very short

The positives: beautifully rendered game, graphics are lush.
The negatives: very very short. Game (plus bonus chapter) can be completed in about 2.5 hrs...no other extras apart from the usual wallpapers, soundtrack and repeat puzzles/ho's you'll find ingame.

As always with these CE games they're a bit of a misnomer - you get a bonus chapter which is really part of the game but issued as 'bonus' to make you feel that paying $14 is worth it. With this game I would say not. Far too short for the money and the puzzles are super easy. Definitely a children's game and worth it if you get it on special as the story is very engaging.

The Secret Order: Ancient Times Collector's Edition
 –

Try it

Ok this is a good game but you won't get the story unless you have played previous games of this group. Otherwise if not, it's a good HO puzzle with a fairy story around it.

Nancy Drew: Tomb of the Lost Queen
 –

Love this story

Great story, great game just one quibble. No map so you have to retrace steps and boy, did I get lost in tunnels 1,2 and 3

Psychonauts

Great imaginative platformer!

This is a really fun platformer style game with lots to offer for a wide age group. (I'd say anyone 8 and up would really enjoy this game). The story is fun and imaginative, and the pacing is pretty good. My only critique is that this game is a bit short. You could easily run through the story in just 8 hours (maybe less). It does have lots of fun elements though, and although you will have plenty of item searching to do for a 100% completion, the quirky little animations and interactions you have with NPCs and enemies make it feel less like a chore. Overall this game was really fun and visually beautiful in a 90's cartoon-ish way. If you want a silly game that is fun to play and looks good, this is a great choice. Yes the graphics are a bit dated, but with the art style used you'd hardly give it a second thought.

Great for fans of Nancy Drew!

I already have most of these games but there were a few I didn't have. Getting to buy them all for less than $20 was a deal I couldn't pass up and look forward to many hours of game play.

Legend of Kay Anniversary
 –

Remastered version of a classic.

Perhaps underrated a decade ago, the remastered version keeps what made the original platformer great, but updates everything that needed to be updated, to make it looks and feel like a new game. They put a lot of effort into it, including adding achievements and global stat tracking. Check it out.

Wasteland 2: Director's Cut - Digital Deluxe Edition
 –

Great follow-up, to the 1988 classic.

Wasteland 1 came out in 1988. Wasteland 2 in 2014. That kind of means, "It better be good". It is.

Most post-apocalyptic games are shooters, now. Even classic approaches like Fallout, for exampled, evolved into other games. This one feels like it is taking it back to where the point of evolution and building on top of what had been made, to offer something that keeps old fans, yet makes new ones at the same time.

I recommend checking it out and getting the fully loaded Deluxe edition, which even comes with the original game. Even after they released it the first time, they just kept working on it and have made it all that much better. It's worth checking out.

Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions
 –

Must play, twin stick shooter.

Looking for a good twin stick shooter? You found one. Loaded with achievements, leaderboards, all sorts of game modes, etc... You can't go wrong. A lot of effort was put into this and it shows. This game is tough, but yet it makes you want to go back and play more. A sure sign of a good game.

Homeworld Remastered Collection
 –

5 games in one and worth every penny.

You don't just get Homeworld Remastered, you get one and two, one and two remastered, and a multiplayer version of the game. That pretty much tells you it is going to be worth the money, especially when you realize they are all good.

The originals were fun, well thought out games. They took some people that worked on those and tasked them with making the new, remastered ones feel like you are still playing the same game, just a much better, modern version of each. It shows and makes this collection worth getting. A really solid RTS collection. Check it out.

Tropico 5: T-Day DLC
 –

Perhaps the best Tropico 5 DLC.

This is a fun DLC, that somehow proves useful. It has this great vibe, as you try to film a movie for the main mission. A side benefit is that you can fort up the island, making it even stronger than standard tactics. You get maybe the best story from the DLCs and a huge positive in the building department. Pretty solid combo.

Craft The World
 –

A must play game.

A god-sim, that combines many different game types, and actually pulls them all off. Pretty much unheard of, with this type of approach not being messed up. You control dwarves, have them do tasks for you, and make many choices throughout the play within a randomly generated world. Worth playing.

Euro Truck Simulator 2 - Scandinavia
 –

Great update, if you enjoy the game.

I got into this game for a Christmas event that they held. It felt worth sticking around, for new things. 27 new cities, along with a whole region that offers a new driving experience. Sign me up. This is a huge DLC and worth getting.

Guns, Gore & Cannoli
 –

Very fun, loaded game.

Great looking game, with attention to detail. Side scrolling, with zombies. Usually a positive. Add in a 1920s, mafia vibe and up to four players, it becomes impossible to recommend against it. Really, really fun game, worth checking out.

Flem
 –

Cute platformer that is very entertaining.

The first thing you will notice about the game is that it is about a cute little booger. :) Don't take that as meaning it isn't a tough game or anything like that. It's a fun platformer with a lot of challenges. You will find yourself going back and trying to get gold on the 40 or so levels it has. Any game that makes you want to keep playing, has to be worth the purchase.

Tropico 5: Mad World DLC
 –

Odd DLC, that is a bit grindy.

To some, this isn't necessarily a good DLC. It does have benefits on harder difficulties, with the new Asylum building, but the mission might ruin it for some. The problem ends up being that at best, it has a grindy mission. At worst? A buggy mission that some can't finish. Still, if the price is right, I would pick it up. The building bonuses are worth it.

Tropico 5: Espionage
 –

Nice gain of spying abilities.

There is a lot in this DLC, which is good, due to the price. You gain a lot of spying/policing abilities/buildings, which will benefit your setup. The story can be a bit too much of a tutorial on how to use it, which I guess helps some. Still, worth it, if you like the game. Check it out.
