Cross platform multiplayer fun

A few friends of mine from work got me to play this. Multiplayer is a blast and works cross platform. If you want a fun game on your Mac to play with friends (even if they are using Windows), this is it.

Fun little game

For the price, it's really addictive (and pretty hard). If you like puzzles, buy it.

Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition

Great FPS with corrosive humour in a Mad Max style universe.

If you love shooting up things, humour and post apocalyptic ambiance, this is for you. Although this game is ageing, it does so gracefuly thanks to its cartoony style which is in my opinion very well achieved. While managing inventory and trading items between character isn't always at its best, the overall playability is good and relatively simple. The story is mostly there as an excuse to shoot your way through hordes of bad guys but is funny enough to not to get in your way and even be entertaining at times. The major drawback is the lack of proper AI for the bosses who tend to just be super strong but also super stupid and robotic.

Not Syndicate

This game is not like Syndicate (and I doubt anyone want a 80's strategy game formula today, but whatever), so if that is what you are thinking, you probably get dissapointed. The game is a squad-based strategy game with some rpg elements, with decent graphics, and horrible menus, in a futuristic world full of megacorporations. So if you like that kind of things, it's a nice game.

Shooting and blowing up things at its best!

Great followup of the original Borderland, about everything is better, bigger and louder in this sequel. However, the bosses keep disapointigly being quite robotic and stupid, their health bar gets bigger and their punches nastier, that's it. Nevertheles, a really entertaining title if you like FPS. Lot of humour and nice graphics. The additional DLC are quite nice, especially the Tiny Tina Fortress dungeon style adventure which is by far the most elaborate and fun of them all.

Borderlands 2: Mercenary Day
 –

Ok, well I guess.

Short adventure DLC that won't keep you busy too long, but if you are in need of new occasion to grab some lot, then I guess this should do the trick.

Mount & Blade: Warband

Great Medieval Action/Adventure/RPG style game.

Nice, really nice and inovative game. Good combat mechanics with quite realistic approche to it. The ability to fight on horse is very well achieved. Very captivating gameplay if you like that style of game with a nice character progresion and total freedom of action. However, having no story to follow and limited choice of action that can be undertaken, once you reach high level, well, there isn't much to do left outside becoming the master of the world which tend to be a very repetitive process of agression, fight and siege to gain total control of the map. I would have loved to be able to manage my estates and my subjects more in details and with more control but that is not possible. There are tons of MODs out there that can somewhat aleviate this gap but it is not part of the original game. The online counterpart is, while being fun and engaging, just a series of battles or seige where no character progresion is possible outside the scope of the action itself and therefore you start from scratch at every session. You die quickly until you spend enough time to master the combat moves, if you do. But overall, this game is really worth it for any medieval fan.

Fantastic game

This game is awesome, but it takes forever to learn all of the aspects of it. Only get it if you're willing to put in the time (the longer you play, the better it gets).

Curious

A good game with good puzzles. Not too easy either and definately creepy in places. Strange woman reminds me of a character in a movie called "Spirited Away" but that's not a bad thing...
