The gameplay is nice but getting routinous very quick. Yes, the trains are nicely drawn and you can have fun by collecting optimal cars. However soon you can find yourself in doing the same repetitive activity in 200s time and you stop loving it so much. Some game buildings refer to the next version of DLC of the game - I hope it will bring some additional features to make it more dynamic - weapons, new quests, personages.
The way the game done is bvery fresh. It keeps the spy atmosphere and leaves a huge space for analysis and tactics. I was really disappointed when the last mission finally ended. I hope we will see something in continue from the authors.
Kingdom has a fairly simple gameplay loop: you are a king or queen on horseback building a new kingdom from dirt with a few coins and some mercenary peasants, defend your kingdom from goblins, and expand! The graphics are 2D Atari-inspired pixel art used to fairly impressive effect with beautiful backdrops and a revolving day-to-night cycle.
In the day, you collect gold, recruit workers, outfit them with bows to make them hunters or hammers to make them builders. The hunters shoot animals for additional gold while the builders make defenses and expand your kingdom. At night you fend off attacks from goblins trying to destroy your kingdom and ultimately steal your crown, causing a game over.
This is where the difficulty comes in, you have a limited amount of time to gather resources and build up your fledgling city before waves of goblins come to tear your city down. Every few days a massive wave comes that tears your city a new one, which is when your crown is most at risk. This makes for tense and exciting games and multiple playthroughs while you hone your strategy and improve to progress further into the game.
Overall, this game has niche appeal, but it does what it does very well. A great game to play for short bursts.
A point 'n' click adventure with a solid storyline and a very atmospheric game to be immersed in. The story, telling the struggles of the FBI agent Erica Reed chasing not one but four different murderers along the streets of Boston, is structured as four self-contained episodes. You'll love this game because its: - beautiful story - great acting voices - catching soundtrack - different kind of puzzles to solve Graphic isn't up to date maybe, and characters move a bit weirdly, but the overall job is very good. Give it a try!
It's you against the nature. The game is pretty hard and you're going to die often at start. But it's quite realistic, graphics are nice and it's relaxing.
Such a great game. I could not wait to get back to playing it. Really dark but such great graphics. Looking forward to the sequal when it comes out on Mac
Such a great concept. Really cool that they included a lot of the minor characters from the Marvel Universe in the game. Loved just flying around as Iron Man.
This game just sucks you in. It vacuums up all the time you have by being so addictive. It helps you understand the life in space and makes you want to go there even more.
Quite fun if you ever considered doing this as a job or a hobby. The game can be classed as educational in a way since now you know not to mix Racing with RPG or some other, terrible combination.
Unfortunately, the cursor never changed to indicate if an area on the screen was interactive or not. Most of the time it was obvious, but there were times when I was required to use the hints just to know what to do next. My pet peeve with most of these games is the lack of a tailored response to a given set of objects interacting with each other. A crowbar won't open a glass cabinet? A chisel can't be used to reveal a tile, but a big chisel will? There is also a moment when you are left "stranded" in an underwater cave. However, since one can use the map to jump around town, one is never really stranded. Aside from the logic problems, the voice acting is fine and the images are well drawn. The story is fairly linear and one can't move too far ahead for fear of giving too much away. Thus fog, preventing a path from being traveled, miraculously disappears when necessary and a arcade machine, which for some reason cannot be plugged in, is suddenly able to be energized when the time is right. If the cursors work for you, be patient and enjoy the game.
A funny point and click game but very challenging.
- first of all the plot, you play as a guy names rufus and his main goal in life is to escape a planet full of junk to a heaven-like place called Elysium for a better life but faith has other plans for him (the plot gets more interesting as you progress in the game).
-the gameplay is smooth and as any ponit and click games you have to solve puzzles to progress but in this game i find it very hard in the begining cause you dont have hints or anything to point you in the right direction, the combination and the solutions to the puzzles are very wacked and a bit crazy , kinda remind me of the RUNAWAY series ( chek guides for more helps)
-the graphics are 2D/3D comics drawing art style (funny and enjoyable)
-the voice acting is perfect , various dialogues and interaction between characters , music is enjoyable but gets repetitive sometimes
-sadly the game has various bugs and some of them kills the progresion of the game but hopefully teh devs made it possible to download savegames from the site ( savegame for each lvl of the game ) better then nothing i guess.
-all achivments are easy except for the last one , you need a special savegame from the site to unloak it r just use SAM and the price is a bit too much but you always can get it on sale ( get the full journey cause you gonna love the game )
finally i recomend it for point and click fans specially RUNAWAY series 7/10
This isn't the best or deepest game around and it does only have single player and local multiplayer, but it still works pretty well. It's a fun game that even has Steam achievements, which seems surprisingly uncommon for games that are similar to this. It might be a bit too simple and might not be for everyone, but if you are looking for this type of game, my guess would be that you will enjoy it.

Good game for short bursts.
Dungeon Hearts does one thing pretty well, but it quickly descends into grinding and carpal tunnel as you frantically move the mouse around trying to move the little dots into place to match 3. And yes, this is basically a match 3 game with an RPG skin on top. Graphics are ok, art style looks nice, but there isn't much more depth beyond more types of tiles and the stages going faster and faster. You play it over and over again, gradually getting better and occasionally getting enough XP for a permanent buff, such as 5% more HP for one of 4 characters. This was the first upgrade and it took an hour to get.
So I'd say it's a bit slow. There's a little bit of story there but the characters aren't really built up, so it's basically just window dressing. Mouse controls work, but as the stages speed up it gets harder to grab and move tiles, which quickly became agitating to me.
