I love this series. It's just so emotional!

Good Match 3 game, lots of colorful graphics. Good game to pass away some time with.

Kuros
 –

Not Your Ordinary HOG

I found Kuros to be quite challenging. The objects to be found were very well hidden. There was one hint allowed per scene, if you could find the hidden lens. Fortunately, clicking around was not penalized. Lots of fun

Great game!

Just love it. Feels like old Fallout + Fallout Tactics. 3D graphics seems a bit strange. I think will better look as isometric even.

Good game, problems with installation

Good game and pretty much a timeless classic. The only problem I had was with the distribution of this game by wingamestore. The game barfs mid-play through with an error "please insert CD".

After looking at the game logs, which look something like this:

Starting cinematic playback 'C2_HansAnnaB.syb'...User has task switched: deactivating.
Insert CD dialog box: Please insert the DVD entitled 'Syberia'
Looking for file 'VideoANC2_HansAnnaB.syb'User pressed CANCEL: aborting application.

It seems to be looking for a file "VideoAN\C2_HansAnnaB.syb" which doesn't exist! Of course, the file itself exists at VideoANC2_HansAnnaB.syb (notice the difference in file name). I got around this by creating the said directory and copying the relevant files but wasn't really expecting this sort of workaround to be done.

So basically full stars for the game and 1 star for the installation issues!

A jedi? Here?

Such a classic SW game. The sabre combat is awesome and the story and voice acting is solid. Definitely holds up today.

BioShock
 –

My youth! My youth!

I wish I had played this one earlier, but I'm glad I finally got around to experiencing this gem of a game. Creepy, action-packed, beautifully-designed and heart-poundingly exciting, BioShock just may be one of the best games I've ever played.

Don't purchase this game. Great graphics, but not great play,

Inventory items disappear and the game freezes up. Also at times in close up in areas, the screen goes black. I have a new mac so I know it's not the graphics card.

Classic fallout in modern times

Fun to play, challenging at times, great look and the squad based tactics that have fallen out of favor these days

Senza troppe pretese - Unpretentious

Classic game with hidden objects. A story that would be engaging, but it is not, many scenes (well-designed), a large number of items to find, some simple mini-games and more without logic. Nothing more. Only suitable for those who like to "point and click" unpretentious. Recommended only if you find it at a discounted price.

Retroism Classic Adventure Pack
 –

Great Combination Platter!

There's a lot of classics here, and by 'classic' I do mean to indicate both in terms of charm, complexity and difficulty. Bloodnet, Darklands, Dragonspehere, Rex Nebular, and Sword of the Samurai work fine and have a lot of tweaks to at least the general interface to make it easier to access and play. There's a lot of pixelated graphics on display but masterfully made examples of the artform and the roleplaying options in most examples (not Rex which is a status-less adventure game) are VERY involved: you will need to talk as much as you will need to fight. Another thing to keep in mind is that these games require a dip into the manuels to understand their intricacies but luckily Steam provides these along with purchase. If you enjoy old school games optomized for a new generation pick this up!

DOOM 3
 –

Good

I used to play this game when it was firstly was released back in early 2000' and I found it very good. Awesome horror atmosphere, effective plot (even if so not very original) - which is deepened through information and registration you may found in the game, awesome weapons and enemies. The original doom encounters horror film!!

Never Alone (Kisima Ingitchuna)
 –

Disapointment

Thought it would be a nice game, however despite of it's historical and cultural touch, it is only a walk ahead game. There is little to do in this game.

Strike Suit Zero
 –

Probably a Bad Idea to Play Without a Joystick

This game requires VERY intense speeds to maintain a lock on the darting enemies. I didn't find any way of manually locking onto targets so a lot of this game for me was flying through beauitful space locations but soon being blown to pieces by speedy fighters I could not track or hit. This game works fine, looks great, sound fantastic, but without a joystick I can see this being much more irritating than it needs to be. Turning into a robot is a plus but getting zapped from fifty different directions was a bit annoying.
