But I spent so much time in that bad boy playing it offline, enough to know that this game was worth the $28 dollars I paid to get the full version. The gameplay is fun, the graphics are fine, the characters are interesting. Oh yeah, ninjas(sign me all the way up). It plays very well on my system (i5 4670k 4.5Ghz, R9 390, 1440p resolution). Would recommend to any fan of stealth and tactical games.
A long story which has many challenges. it does not skip or shorten any part of the story and one thing i liked is that you fail in one part and learn from it as part of the story, as though the gamer is not perfect!
This game contains death, sadness, abductions, spells, a witch, a talking cat, scarecrows... Although it's a dark game with witchcraft it doesn't creep me out for one second. Maybe the very sensitive can sometimes feel a bit chilly? Anyway, the story is in my opinion sad, but not in the bad way. The other League of Light I've played reminds me of this one and beside from some glitches, I love them both. (The glitch in this is that the game shut down. Happened once. And I had a hard time picking up an item in a hidden object scene)
The graphics are clear, colourful and there are beautiful sceneries. Good sound and voiceovers. The map is jumpable and shows available tasks. The hint is directional and in this one it works just fine. You get a little helper, who doesn't annoy.
The HOS are interactive silhouettes, lists, fragments. And the mini games are mostly easy. There are owls and figurines to collect. Bonus game starts exactly where the main ends.
I really enjoyed this game and will play it again. I recommend it to those who like sad movies with grieving parents, abductions along with witchcraft and to those who collect League of Light. This is a pretty easy game with good flow, so I don't know if hardcore gamers will like it.

Ein typisches Microids-Abenteuer-Spiel
Viele Worte gibt es zu diesem Spiel nicht zu verlieren. Es ist typische Microids-Massenware. Die Geschichte bietet genug Spannung und Atmosphäre, um während des kurzen Spielverlaufs bei Laune zu halten, ohne in irgendeiner Weise herausragend zu sein. Grafik und Geräuschkulisse sind gut, ebenfalls ohne irgendwo herausragend zu sein. Bei den Rätseln hat man es sich sehr einfach gemacht. Es handelt sich überwiegend um dieselben Steinchen-Verschiebe-Spiele. Am Ende erwartet einen ein schlichtes Mines-Spiel. Das einzige interessante Rätsel war jenes mit den Maya-Zahlen. Aber auch dieses war nicht allzu schwer. Insgesamt waren die Rätsel eine große Enttäuschung. Das beste an dem ganzen Spiel war das überraschende Ende. Wer Abenteuerspiele mag kann getrost zuschlagen, wenn dieses Spiel einmal als Sonderangebot verfügbar ist.

Sehr kurz, aber nicht uninteressant.
Das Spiel ist sehr kurz. Ich habe die Zeit nicht gestoppt, aber es waren etwa vier Stunden Spieldauer. Trotzdem ist das Spiel nicht schlecht. Die Geschichte ist durchaus interessant und spannend. Die Rätsel sind überwiegend logisch, im Schwierigkeitsgrad aber nicht mehr als Mittelmaß. Gelegentlich muss man ein wenig herumprobieren, um ein Rätsel zu lösen. Die Grafik ist schlicht und kommt fast komplett ohne Animationen aus. Man bewegt sich in alter Point and Click Manier von Bild zu Bild. Wenn das Spiel mal im Angebot ist, kann man bedenkenlos zuschlagen.

Fun but tedious
Takes a l-o-n-g time to get into, but once you do it does have a good arc to gameplay.
It can be surprisingly tough, but is generally fair and is pretty engaging for its limited look and moveset. It may not gain repeat players, but is a very solid title.
