A Wonderful Game

I love this game. The graphics are wonderful to look at, sound designer did a great job with atmosphere. This game ran like butter on my Mac Pro 2.8ghz Quad Core(2010) with Radeon 7950 3GB.I highly recommend this for a city builder.

Alice's Patchwork
 –

Fun Images to puzzle out: what's not to like? Quite a bit, actually.

Turns out, the gamification of it. You can see only five pieces at a time, they're often very obscure (which would be good), in order to progress you must solve these puzzles very fast and without a single mistake. This often means restarting a level until it's possible or until you've memorised the exact position of all pieces.

I find it ironic that of all the games I play (which includes a fair few action games like Shadows of Mordor) this is the one where physical restrictions (inability to hold down the mouse button and move the mouse with precision for long stretches of time until I have found the right spot for a piece) lose me points/mess up levels most often. Instead of fun, I found this game stressful.

Total War™: ROME II - Daughters of Mars Unit Pack
 –

A female touch

This dlc adds a handful of new units to the game. They don't add much in the way of gameplay as they are just more standard sword/spear/bow troops, but do add a bit of flair. It's obviously not historically accurate. On the plus side the dlc is however rather cheap.

Anomaly Defenders
 –

Above average tower defence

Unlike the other anomaly games this one offers standard tower defence. It's less original, but the game is otherwise very well done. There is a tech tree, so there is real progress and a reason to revisit levels. The defensive towers and special abilities mean there is plenty to do. All in all an enjoyable game.

Tyranny - Archon Edition
 –

Solid isometric cRPG with unusual story and engaging combat...

Definitely worth a try for any fan of oldschool western RPGs!
Unique and refreshing that forget your usual boring saving the world from The Evil Overlord you will conquer it in their name instead.

Cities: Skylines - Mass Transit
 –

Mass Transit is the newest expansion for Cities Skylines...

...the award-winning city-building game, and it brings several new systems into play to help citizens traverse their towns in style&speed. This is an outstanding game, exceptionally outstanding citybuilder game, in a genre that for too long, has been deeply troubled with casualization, good optimization, best concepts, microtransactions. Good job!

Howlville: The Dark Past
 –

[A game that dates back to 2012 and it sucks much of the time it has elapsed. The story is based on the classic search engine of the loved one, and is simply a pretext for dealing with a long series of hidden object scenes and lots of mini-games. Scenes with hidden objects are old-fashioned (too full for today's tastes ...) but they also contain a number of actions to accomplish that I found intriguing. Mini-games swung between absolute ease and absolute illogicality. The images are great and the music is of good quality. Even in this case, it is a modest game suitable for those who enjoy the "tip and click" without too much pretense, for a few hours of fun.]

Peccato

Peccato che questo gioco sia solo in inglese. Manca la versione in italiano... Un'occasione persa dal produttore per vendere di più.

[It's a shame that this game is just in English. The Italian version is missing ... An opportunity missed by the manufacturer to sell more.]

Grim Tales: The Heir Collector's Edition
 –

Creepy

This series never tires! Just when you thought the story could not twist more it does and expands and extends to offer more in the future. One day we may say enough of the Greys and the difficult (sometimes) puzzles, but not yet

Mystery Trackers: Paxton Creek Avenger
 –

Bit disappointing

This was not the best efforts from this storyline and the art work was very flat and weird in places, especially the MT people who seemed mis-drawn..puzzles ok.

Dark Strokes: Sins of the Fathers Collector's Edition

Better than expected

Although I worked the plot out quite fast, I wasn't disappointed in this tale and the ending wasn't abruptly finished either.

Obduction

Bored

While others (including my son) think this is a great game, I gave up because I was bored. Yes, it's well drawn, yes, it's a twisted plot and yes the puzzles make you think but I lost the point and my interest which saddened me. It is, I won't deny, a step up from the usual and certainly a welcome addition to the Myst family which many will enjoy but sadly, not for me.

Sid Meier's Pirates!

Live the Swashbucklin' Life!

It's a charming, fun, breezy game but it has depth and character. You end up doing A LOT of the same thing but there's been attention paid to make you advance to new challenges, uncover new secrets, and have multiple paths to victory. I like loading up and enjoying a little sailing, dueling, dancing and treasure hunting!
