Nice dlc

Everything worked well. The dlc is a maybe not the nr. 1 dlc, but it is great adding fun some automatization of exploring.

Dungeons 3
 –

Fun game, not very difficult though

Enjoyed this game very much, overall a small improvement over Dungeons 2.
Pros:
-Smooth gameplay
-Takes 20 to 30 hours
-Good voice acting and narration

Cons:
-Easy, defintely play on 'Hellish' if you want any kind of challenge (even then mostly in the last 4 or 5 missions)
-UI needs some finetuning
-Story is not as memorable as the last game and it's expansions

Europa Universalis IV: Rights of Man
 –

Quite good, though maybe not exactly essential

This DLC adds a bunch of fairly useful abilities to the game, like the "great power" system (if you're planning to play as one of the bigger nations). There's another DLC out there giving you the ability to "threaten war" to slowly annex provinces, and I've come to use it almost constantly. I imagine threatening over breaking alliances will be just as useful.

Similarly, personality traits add a bit of extra spice to gameplay, and having queen regents seems pretty darn useful to sidestep painful regency periods.

One of the first DLCs I'd recommend getting, provided you already have the essential "Common Sense" and "Art of War" (otherwise go for those first).

Europa Universalis IV: Res Publica
 –

For the completionists

This is one of the older, and probably therefore cheaper DLCs for the game, but it doesn't add a whole lot of extra content over the free update. Really cheap if you can get it on sale, but I'd highly recommend going for more highly valued DLC first (like Common Sense or Art of War), if you don't have them already.

There are numerous threads on Reddit ranking EU4 expansions in terms of usefulness if you need more advice to go on (just search "what DLCs should I get EU4"). Hope this helps.

STAR WARS™ - X-Wing Special Edition
 –

Great old game, but takes effort to make it work

I loved playing this game on my PowerPC back in the 90's. This is NOT the exact same as that version. It's the DOS version in a wrapper (Boxer) that allows you to play it on the Mac.

That said, it's still a great game, but it will take some effort to make it work well. Check out the forums on GOG.com for a great and helpful community. With their help and a LOT of online research, I'm playing this game on my MacBook Pro with a Thrustmaster HOTAS. Lots of fun.

My biggest complaint against Mac Game Store's version is that while it is the same as the GOG.com release, it doesn't have a GOG.com code with it, so you're missing out on their updates and downloads.

Still, I got it on sale for a ¼ of the cost, so all-in-all, it's a win.

May the Force be with you.

Great old game but takes effort to make it work well

This is port of another of my favorite flight/space sims from the 90's.
Still a great game, but this is NOT the same exact version as we played on PowerPC back in the day. This is a DOS version in a Boxer wrapper.

Still a good game, but you might have to dig around and tweak some things to make it run well. Check out the forums on GOG.com for a great and helpful community (for us Mac users too!)

Got it running well on my MacBook Pro with a Thrustmaster HOTAS. But it's not great right out of the box (so to speak).

My biggest complaint is that while this is GOG.com version, it doesn't come with their code, so you miss out on all the extra downloadable goodies. Still I got it on sale at a ¼ of the cost. So I guess I can't complain too much.
