Well Done & Fun

This truly was a fun game to play. We had played 4 other Broken Sword games, but never this first one. We were glad to see how Nico & George met and then how George met Pearl & Duane for the first time. It has a great story, lots of humor, good graphics and NO bugs. The game-play increased in difficulty as you played, but with a built in hint system, there was no need to look at a walkthrough. We highly recommend this game to anyone who loves true adventure games. By the way, when you finish the game, click on the Templar Cross to learn about how the developer, Revolution, came to be. Being in the computer business in those days, it was very interesting to read.

Pickers: Adventures in Rust
 –

Lots of fun

Really enjoyed this game. Simple premise, finding objects, but the bartering and shopping adds a lot of fun. I was keen to play again to improve my results.

The Tiny Bang Story
 –

Gorgeous and fun

This game is visually stunning, not cutesy - but elegant and clever. The detail is amazing. And the puzzles are a real challenge, but you get enough clues to keep you going. Looks like a kids game, but really is for adults who want to feel that child like wonder and awe again.

Word Cross
 –

Terrible game

Graphics are ugly, it's clunky and boring. There is no word skill required. Awful game. I would have given it 0 stars if I could.

Boring and ugly

Expected a lot more than ugly cartoon style graphics. It is not noir and it is not stylish or cool. Far from it. Boring boring game. The dialogues are so tedious. Hated it.

Gone Home
 –

3 stars for effort

The story was a complete surprise, loved it. Graphics excellent. But I was so bored wandering around, I wanted some direction. I cheated and used a walk through to get to the end. There just needed to be more of a "game" element to make me care enough to put the story together.

Tropico 5: The Big Cheese DLC
 –

New industry in tropico

This DLC is so great because you have one more industry in the game that provides you with money. This industry is so rentable because can be used in the colonial era, because is not a heavy industry.

Tropico 5: Generalissimo DLC
 –

Military building

This DLC is great because you can build a new military building. Yes, you can build a new fort if you want more military buildings, but this building is much beautiful and provides you elite infantry, like the presidential palace. This DLC have also a dictator costume that look awsome and a new island, but the most important part of the DLC is the military building.

Tropico 5: Surfs Up! DLC
 –

New building and scenario

This DLC adds a new mission, a new map a new costume, a new soundtrack and a new building: The Dolphinarium. This is interesting, the building can be visited by the tourists, but it's not a must to have thing. Also, the map, costume, mission and soundtrack... you can play very weel without its. I bought this DLC because I am a fan of Tropico, but it's not the greatest pack for this game.

Unity of Command
 –

Surprisingly interesting !

As a grand strategy games player I thought this game would be too simple to be interesting. I was wrong. The scope is certainly limited and it's mainly a good entry level game for beginners. But, surprisingly, the game offer challenges and hours of play/replay. I would say it's better that it looks.

I would have rated the game 4 or 5 if it had a difficulty level setting. It's hardly understandable this feature is lacking as it would have been really easy to implement using the existing game mechanics of prestige points. Prestige points can be used to "buy" (request from high command) more divisions or specialized brigades, so why not give more or less starting prestige as a difficulty level ?

Unity of Command - Black Turn DLC
 –

More hours of pleasure

The base game Unity of command was a surprise for me, offering interesting challenges despite the limited scope of the game (for a grand strategy player). The Black turn expansion offers more gameplay with new scenarios and the same the run against the clock (to take objectives on time) and the uttermost importance of protecting your supply lines.

Sadly, a difficulty level setting is still lacking in this expansion.
