I really like this game. Interesting take on the 4x strategy game graphics wise and I like the hero system, a la endless space. The thing I really can't understand is why the mac port is still 32 bit and not 64 bit, like the PC version after all this time. Also not sure about the combat system which I think should have been more like Age of Wonders 3 as the fights are really not that in-depth.

I was about 40 hours into this game when My save file was corrupted. Gave it a few months, tried again, and same thing happened. Its a shame because the story is amazing.
The gameplay and the story for this game are exactly what i need after a long day of work. Nothing more relaxing than hitting splicers out of the air with a wrench.
Bought as part of the big fish 2 bundle but annoyingly unless played in window mode (at which point everything is too small to spot) the HO scenes have a lot of items listed at the bottom of the screen that are impossible to read as they are off screen. Although it's supposed to display in full screen mode it actually displays in a windowed box...bad form.
Everyone needs to try this game. This game has everything and comes from a complete different angle than any other game before it. Yes the game is old, and yes it doesn't look as nice as some of the other games but try to look past that.

A war rages between The Republic and The Sith. 'Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic' throws you head first into a fantastic recreation of the Star Wars universe filled with lightsabers, Sith Lords, and political intrigue.
Even if you're not a Star Wars fan, this game is a lot of fun. I've played it through at least three times and it doesn't get boring. Highly recommended.
This is the makings of a great game. There are glitches and bugs but, it's an indy game. I hope with more people buying this game, they will contine to make this game better. The biggest downfall for me is the controlls/camra response.
