Laggy

This game I tried because I played the sequel (wrong order) which was perhaps my mistake as this game was laggy in movement and the graphics are irritating, especially the figures.

The Walking Dead: Season 2 (Telltale Key)
 –

No game at all

Another Telltale's "experiment", this time the follow-up to The Walking Dead. Expect the same thing as in the first part: just a movie in which you take some decisions at certains points. About the movie there´s no objection: the story, voices and dialogues are good, the graphic style is great... But it´s just an animation to look at, not a game to play with. If you want to spend your money in games buy a real one, not this.

Hidden Object: Secrets of Alexandria
 –

Terrible

Quite possibly the shortest, flimsiest excuse for an HO game I've ever come across...$2.99 yes, but hardly worth even that...you'd be dissappointed if you got it free, having paid for it (as it was listed quite high in the top 100) I'm unable to figure out how it even got there.

Beyond the Invisible: Evening
 –

Truly dreadful

Glad i didn't buy it! Couldn't even bring myself to get halfway through the demo. As usual with these 'atmospheric' HO games they sacrifice visibility in HO scenes (of which there aren't nearly enough) to make it look creepy to fit in with the theme of the game. So even when you did come across an HO scene it did little to relieve the tedium. As for the rest of the game, slog, slog, slog and nothing good to say about it whatsoever. Save your money for something else..this will bore you to tears.

SteamWorld Dig
 –

Pluses and Minuses

Steamworld Dig is one of those games that is both excellent and frustrating. It is a genuinely beautiful game. The visuals and engaging and draw you in, with light effects complementing the atmosphere of the game magnificently. The primary gameplay mechanics work well as well, and overall it is an addicting ride that I can say I truely enjoyed. The only fault I can really find in it is that it is short. All in all about 3 hours till the end, plus 1-2 if you want to do 100%. I don't think this is much of a spoiler but there is only one real boss battle. I think if the game was twice as long, with smaller, more scattered boss battles and better combat mechanics, it would have been truly one of the greats. As it stands, Steamworld Dig is something I can recommend wholeheartedly, with the caviat that it will levae you wishing it was more.

Edna & Harvey: Harvey's New Eyes

Very cute

It's pretty interesting, cute cartoonish graphics, funny dialogue, with a dark twist in things you don't expect.

Good game

Same game mechanic as other titles by daedalic, but still fun and challenging. This one takes place in a literal dump where your character is trying to escape.

Fashion Dash
 –

Not worth the money

It's badly designed, badly executed and overall quite tedious in the long-run. A lot of the levels are impossible to get expert score on, no matter how many times you replay, you either don't get enough customers or not enough opportunities to create chains to earn the money necessary. Sometimes this happens repeatedly even on passing a level so you can progress. The sound-effects are annoying, especially 'guitargirl'. Is it worth $20? No. Should it have a demo? Yes...and that would be more than enough time to grow bored with it. There's just not enough variety of tasks to keep you engaged.

Torchlight II
 –

Torchlight 2 review.

Simply put, Torchlight II is a phenomenal game. It's incredibly polished, and everything just feels like it's in the right place when you're playing. It's tons of fun to play and never takes itself too seriously, and there are some great pop culture references sprinkled throughout. It's a great pickup for both action RPG fans and newcomers alike, something I would recommend to anyone without hesitation.

The Night of the Rabbit
 –

The Night of the Rabbit review.

This is a great game. The plot is interesting and the art style is so cool. It can get a little tedious at times, like when you can't figure out what to do, but that's what walkthoughs are for. It does not have much in the way of replay-ability, but that's not what point and click games are for. The game is very well done and dosn't have many characters that leave you wondering why they put them in the game. If you haven't played this game you should.

The Tiny Bang Story
 –

Simple and fun game

This a puzzle/adventure game with a few hidden object sequences added in.The art is cute and fits the genre perfectly. The story is fairly non-existent other than the beginning premise set up for the game of a world struck by disaster. One of the best puzzle games imo.

Remeniscent of old school

Haven't gotten very far yet, as it's not overly obvious what needs to be done. Quite challenging, reminds of old school adventure games. This one will keep me busy for a while. :)
