LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues
 –

One more amazing LEGO game

Here's the thing. LEGO games are amazing multiplayer co-op fun, if you are into the formula. Indy 2 does not reinvent the wheel, it plays pretty much exactly like the number of LEGO games before with some additional tweaks (like the crystal skull). This is not a bad thing at all however, if like me you happen to love this. The sections are divided into more managable chunks this time around, that are bundled into parts and save automatically - I personally consider this an improvement. All in all, it maintains the humour and charm of the first LEGO Indy, although I should note that story-wise it strays much further from the movie plots, which may or may not be a good thing. I recommend you to buy it if you know and love the LEGO game formula, this is a worthy addition (especially if you are Indy-obsessed). If you have never played a LEGO game, I think you should start somewhere else though - maybe with the first Indiana Jones.

The Tiny Bang Story
 –

Enchanting experience

This was I think my first real point and click adventure game that I played through. It is a really beautiful game, very well thought through with cozy visuals. it can actually be quite a challenge. All in all, I would recommend it for a relaxing evening, when you just want to get out of it. It can be quite a brain excersise while the soothing music makes it an overall very enjoyable experience.

SteamWorld Dig
 –

Pluses and Minuses

Steamworld Dig is one of those games that is both excellent and frustrating. It is a genuinely beautiful game. The visuals and engaging and draw you in, with light effects complementing the atmosphere of the game magnificently. The primary gameplay mechanics work well as well, and overall it is an addicting ride that I can say I truely enjoyed. The only fault I can really find in it is that it is short. All in all about 3 hours till the end, plus 1-2 if you want to do 100%. I don't think this is much of a spoiler but there is only one real boss battle. I think if the game was twice as long, with smaller, more scattered boss battles and better combat mechanics, it would have been truly one of the greats. As it stands, Steamworld Dig is something I can recommend wholeheartedly, with the caviat that it will levae you wishing it was more.
