The Treasures of Montezuma 3
 –

My Favorite Match-3!

...and I've played a lot of 'em. The graphics, animations, gameplay, effects, sounds, menus- all are fantastic and satisfying. Enjoy!

The Stroke of Midnight

Now I understand why this game was given away for free, this past weekend. It doesn't work, at all, as it locks up at the sign-in screen. I had played the demo, when it first came out, and didn't buy it, because the game slowed my mouse down so much, it took forever to move it around the screen. When I saw it was a freebie, I thought why not? I did "re-install" it, in my Mac Games Arcade, but it didn't help. Same problem. Giving it 1 star, because zero is not an option.

LUXOR 5th Passage
 –

Yes a bug but there is know what it is!

Turns out that the game sticks when your mouse (which you cannot see) is at the very top of the screen on the toolbar. If you just move down slightly with your mouse there will be no more frozen-ness! I know its not the best thing in the world but once you know this the game can be enjoyed as it only glitches for a cuple of secs when you know what to do!

The Stroke of Midnight
 –

User Interface needs work, lots of it!

It is close to impossible to put down an object once you've picked it up! I have tried every possible combination of control keys plus mouse clicks and still the little fist cursor WILL NOT LET GO! This is most frustrating when there are several tasks in a scene that must be done in a certain order. Once you've picked up the wrong object, you're stuck with it until you exit the game completely!!!

I consider this game to be broken for Mac - especially disappointing because there is no tutorial or explantion of key clicks, etc. with this game. If it worked intuitively that would be no problem but it most certainly does NOT! Not only that but the sudden swoops and zooms may cause motion sickness. This certainly is the most user-hostile interface I have encountered since the MSDOS prompt.

Nice lush graphics, worth the 2 stars I gave. Particularly annoying voice over with a tendency to grunt at you.

The Treasures of Montezuma 3
 –

Addicting!

This third Montezuma game is quite different from Treasures of M 2. I never could quite get the hang of that one. This game has 2 modes - casual and expert. Both are timed, and I fear it will take me forever to actually beat all the casual mode levels. But I'm having fun trying!

The Agency of Anomalies: Mystic Hospital Collector's Edition
 –

An excellent game

I wasn't sure at first - pretty gruesome atmosphere - but this game roped me in quickly. Many, many hours of game play, interesting twist on H0G scenes, good mix of puzzles, tons of tasks. Take notes! The bonus chapter was also long and very well done.

Wonderful game

Wonderful game with quality artwork. Too short, though. Still, worth every penny.

Duke Nukem Forever
 –

Good ol Duke

I know people bashed this game like crazy when it came out. But I am really enjoying it. Its basically what I would have expected from a Duke Nukem game. Game doesn't push graphics or innovation but not all games need to. Game is just fun. And some of the one liners are hella funny. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to just have fun and not have a game taken to seriously.

World of Goo
 –

Addictive, though short

Short is relative, and it is well worth the price. But the scope is limited, and replay will consist in the main to improving previous level scores. Yet, while it lasts, WOG is one of the best game on any platform for casual play to come out in the last five years.

Age of Conquest III

This game will crash on you!

Every 3 or 4 games it will crash or freeze! You get what you pay for, so spend some more money and buy a different game =(

Spore
 –

Amazing

Spore is a five stage game in which your goal is to dominate the galaxy. It is very cool. You can also just create things and share them with millions of people.

The Legend Of Rome

The Legend of Rome

I love Match 3 games but I just "like" this one. Agree with previous reviewer about the cursor and getting to the bottom of the screen to "buy". Also the size of the game goes from normal to very small and difficult to play. Puts a strain on my eyes.

Dracula 3 - The Path of the Dragon
 –

this is for a Mac?

I have no clue how to move around in this game as it's apparently designed for a PC and I can't right-click, etc. I do know the substitutes but it's very awkward and frankly, too much trouble.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent

Lots of fun on a dark night

Love this game and it's "dark" mystery. Can only play it for an hour late at night, when everyone is asleep....makes it more interesting.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent
 –

Crash

I'm sure this game deserves more than a one star, but it crashes every time. I downloaded the demo and opened the game, the screen went black (like it was going to start the game) but the screen flickers, then the game crashes. Does anybody now why this happened? Nobody seems to have the same problem.

Medieval Battlefields
 –

Not Ready For Retail

A great concept is improperly written. Even the latest version (1.5.2) is buggy, slow, and frequently freezes and crashes. This may be because the game is Java based.

American Civil War
 –

A great game

I have found this game stable, but I can't say the same for my head - it's complex and deep, the sort of challenge that Paradox game fans will like. Thought different, AGEOD's system is a lot of fun once one gets past the learning curve - even with a considerable knowledge of the period in history.

The Legend Of Rome

The Legend of Rome

Full of errors- Cursor keeps sticking and you have to wiggle it about to get to bottom of screen. It states in the blurb that it has " an easy introduction to the game and the adjustable difficulty." but it does not. I have virtually every match 3 game going but cannot get beyond first level on this one. Was really looking forward to this one but sadly the price reflects its quality.
