Dracula 3 - The Path of the Dragon
 –

this is for a Mac?

I have no clue how to move around in this game as it's apparently designed for a PC and I can't right-click, etc. I do know the substitutes but it's very awkward and frankly, too much trouble.

Lots of fun on a dark night

Love this game and it's "dark" mystery. Can only play it for an hour late at night, when everyone is asleep....makes it more interesting.

Crash

I'm sure this game deserves more than a one star, but it crashes every time. I downloaded the demo and opened the game, the screen went black (like it was going to start the game) but the screen flickers, then the game crashes. Does anybody now why this happened? Nobody seems to have the same problem.

Not Ready For Retail

A great concept is improperly written. Even the latest version (1.5.2) is buggy, slow, and frequently freezes and crashes. This may be because the game is Java based.

A great game

I have found this game stable, but I can't say the same for my head - it's complex and deep, the sort of challenge that Paradox game fans will like. Thought different, AGEOD's system is a lot of fun once one gets past the learning curve - even with a considerable knowledge of the period in history.

The Legend Of Rome

The Legend of Rome

Full of errors- Cursor keeps sticking and you have to wiggle it about to get to bottom of screen. It states in the blurb that it has " an easy introduction to the game and the adjustable difficulty." but it does not. I have virtually every match 3 game going but cannot get beyond first level on this one. Was really looking forward to this one but sadly the price reflects its quality.

Just For Fun

This series is great to play. There are little hidden object games mixed in and the choices you make affect the outcome of the game. I had a great time playing both.

Assassin's Creed II

I love the game till i arrived in Venice. Everything in or on the water results in a crash of the software. Is there a solution or a patch to fix these problems.

Average Controls and Graphics

Tends to slow down and the controls are quite poor - keyword or controller. Overall it is still a good game, I'd say it is worth $10, no more.

If mouse not recognized

If the game won't recognize your mouse, press the ^-button while in home screen. Avoid pressing that button during the game, it will cause the computer to crash. At least it worked for me.

That's not a word!

Agree the computer uses words not in Google or online dictionaries, foreign words (qi=Chinese) and words like AE and OE, and challenges perfectly good words. However, if you can overlook that the implementation is very nice, fun to use.

Well worth the price

I downloaded the demo and knew almost immediately I would have to buy the full version. The graphics are excellent, the mechanics are simple and the combat system is very easy to learn.

But all these would be nothing if there were no story to propel the game forward. There are aspects of it that are relatively linear, but overall the storyline feels very character-driven, and indeed the interactions and commentary by the 'ally' characters are one of my favorite things about the game. Each ally character has a distinct personality and history - as do many of the other NPCs - and the more you interact with them, the more they reveal about themselves. I haven't played many other RPGs, but that element more than any other is what convinced me to purchase the game.

I haven't managed to reach any of the endings yet, either - I'm having too much fun exploring the game world and developing my characters within it!

Coconut Queen
 –

Coconut Queen so much fun-Till it starts Crashing repeatedly!

I downloaded the Cocunut Queen demo months ago, and then thought it was too silly.

Finally go into it, and I *love* it. It is pretty and witty and very much in the vein of Be Rich and Be Richer, but much more fun.

Then it started crashing. I see from other reviews that the problem is *not* my computer, a MacBook Pro w. 4GB RAM.

To bad. I love it and had hoped for a sequel. The publisher should at least make good and fix this version!

Nancy Drew: The Captive Curse

not as good as shadows - but still awesome!

The only reason this game wasnt as enjoyable to me as the shadow at the waters edge was i really enjoyed the storyline of the former. this storyline was intricate and fun too, but i think i enjoyed the japanese mini games like sudoku more than the board games of this one - even though the raid minigame was a great game - i would sometimes just stop my detective work just to play a round!!!! i find each new nancy drew gets more challenging, which is fantastic.. if you liked shadow you will love this game too. cant wait for the next one!
