Yesterday Origins continues to develop the character and themes set out in the first game, but falls short in a lot of ways. However, if you are interesting in a game that continues to explore themes of immortality and memory-or if you were at all interested to see what happens next after the end of the first game-then this game is for you. I would say that it's not pendulo's best game, but it is also not their worst.
Expansions for Paradox games add a lot to the core gameplay experience, but never quite enough to justify their price, in my opinion. However, if, like me, you just cannot get enough Stellaris, then this expansion is worth purchasing eventually. Perhaps wait for a sale.
For me the great "MCF" started with "Ravenhearst" and ended with "Shadow Lake".
It was by pure chance that I came across this pure madness, a game so unique and exhilarating that it would be difficult to describe it in a few sentences.
Everything is incredible in this game, from the extraordinary graphics, (Although a little too colorful IMHO...) to the cinematic, the superb interactive triple map and a completely crazy story.
I don't know how long it took the creators of this game to make it, as it's so full of details and brilliant discoveries, but the result is truly impressive !
Multiple bugs. Music volume option will not stay at my setting. AM/FM radio UI in HO game will not respond making it impossiblle to complete the mini game and proceed. I dislike getting stuck because of UI malfunction.
I am so frustrated with HO/A games that are created by non musicians who know nothing about musical notation, but insist on including a really messed up version of it in their games. PLEASE STOP!
Finally! A game that made me use my brain. It was a nice mixture of challenging and easy puzzles. Loved the storyline and the MK Ultra theme. Animation was great. I truly enjoyed this HO adventure. So pleased that it was Mac 64 bit compatible. Please make more. There are too few enjoyable 64 bit compatible HO/adventure games.
This is undoubtedly the best expansion for HoI4. Features like the Military-Industrial Organizations should be the way to specialize and make countries different rather than content-driven events or decisions. The International Market is also a good addition to the game economy and diplomacy. The rework on special forces is also welcomed.
National focus trees for Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Norway are interesting and funny, though I think "power creep" is starting to be an issue, and several trees need to be revisited sooner or later.
My conclusion is clear: if you like HoI4, you need this expansion.
Nice pack, but trains in the game are still buggy sometimes
Must have for train enthusiasts, but at the same time the whole game should handle trains better (buggy routes, sometimes you cannot place them in normal ways without mods etc)
