Electronic Arts this week announced it will be shipping the Mac version of SimCity on June 11th. In addition, the company updated the system requirements for the game. A minimum of 10.7 is now required for the game...the company previously said it would work on 10.6.8. The game is available for pre-order at Macgamestore.com for $59.99. |

Feral Interactive today announced that the award-winning strategy game XCOM: Enemy Unknown will be released on the Mac this Spring. This part-time job involves troubleshooting web site and game issues, responding to customer tickets, issuing credits and refunds, etc. Qualifications: Must have excellent Mac skills, extensive experience with Mac games, and be able to trouble shoot issues. Pluses: Understanding and able to identity potential bugs in the system and able to delegate issues to proper internal departments for quick resolutions. Hours: Typically 2-3 hours a day. The long-awaited alpha version of the new Mac Game Store app is here! What is the new Mac Game Store app? Built with the same technologies that power Google Chrome, Safari, and Steam, the new Mac Game Store app allows customers to navigate, browse, purchase, and download all through an incredibly easy and innovative interface. What To Test Installing Your Purchases - Go to My Games. Here you will see a list of games you have purchased. Please install your games. We are looking to see how the download process goes for you. Does it download and install ok? Does it crash at any moment? Download Demos - Please download all the demos you can find. Does it download ok? Any issues you'd like to report? Purchasing - During this alpha test, you can purchase any game(s) you'd like, but please, for now, restrict your purchases to credit card purchases only! Paypal support will be available shortly. Providing Feedback App crashes - If the app crashes, relaunch the app. At that point the Feedback Reporter will ask you to submit a bug report. Please do so. General Feedback - Please email your feedback to beta@macgamestore.com. You can also post in the Mac Game Store Alpha Test Forum. To enter the beta forum, use the password: macgames Survey - After 15 minutes of use, the app will ask you to take a survey. Please do so at anytime.
