Really good turn-based fantasy strategy series. Like HOMM? Buy it.

Ecco un gioco longevo che inizia come un thriller investigativo per poi trasformarsi in un lungo viaggio tra strane sparizioni, fantasmi, allineamento di pianeti, alieni, buchi neri e persino quale sia lo scopo della vita. In realtà, la trama è solo un pretesto per catapultarci in un classico vortice di scene con oggetti nascosti, mini-giochi e puzzle che rappresentano l'essenza di questo game. Non aspettatevi quindi originalità e tensione narrativa: principalmente la protagonista deve usare i portali magici presenti nelle stanze di un albergo per muoversi tra varie epoche, risolvere enigmi e trovare i manufatti indispensabili per risolvere il caso. Le immagini, le scene cinematiche e le musiche sono comunque di buona qualità. Dal punto di vista del gameplay le scene con oggetti nascosti sono molto piene e a volte con oggetti in posizioni illogiche, mentre mini-giochi e puzzle sono quasi sempre facili. Inoltre, in numerose "pop screens" non è presente alcuna informazione che permetta di capire quale azione occorre compiere, e la mappa è decisamente rudimentale e di scarso aiuto. Positiva, invece, la funzione del diario. Infine, non esiste doppiaggio vocale ed è solo in inglese. Tre stelle, e il consiglio di giocarlo se lo trovate ad un prezzo scontato. [Here is a long-lived game that begins as an investigative thriller and then turns into a long journey through strange disappearances, ghosts, alignment of planets, aliens, black holes and even what the purpose of life is. In fact, the plot is just an excuse to catapult us into a classic vortex of scenes with hidden objects, mini-games and puzzles that represent the essence of this game. So do not expect originality and narrative tension: mainly the protagonist must use the magic portals in the rooms of a hotel to move between different eras, solve puzzles and find the indispensable artifacts to solve the case. The images, cinematic scenes and music are still of good quality. From the gameplay point of view scenes with hidden objects are very full and sometimes with objects in illogical positions, while mini-games and puzzles are almost always easy. Moreover, in many "pop screens" there is no information that allows you to understand what action must be taken, and the map is very rudimentary and of little help. Positive, however, the function of the diary. Finally, there is no voice dubbing and it is only in English. Three stars, and the advice to play it if you find it at a discounted price. Si tratta davvero di un ottimo gioco. La storia è lunga, coinvolgente e ricca di personaggi umani e non con cui interagire, percorrendo scenari ben realizzati e ricchi di particolari. Riceveremo anche una bella lezione sui danni dell'inquinamento, insieme a tanti altri piccoli spunti di "riflessione" sul rapporto tra l'uomo e la natura. Dal punto di vista della giocabilità, segnalo che molti oggetti collezionabili sono nascosti anche nelle "pop screens" e in alcuni mini-giochi: occhio quindi a non perderli! Alcune scene con oggetti nascosti sono davvero impegnative, mentre i mini-giochi si presentano in diverse occasioni con una vesta grafica "originale", sebbene alla fine siano abbastanza facili da superare (a parte quello con le biglie! In questo caso, ci vuole molta pazienza...). Buone le musiche ed i filmati. Unica piccola "pecca": lo stile grafico in alcuni tratti è un po' "fumettoso"... Peccato, perchè il realismo completo, anche se si tratta di un racconto di magia, avrebbe ancor più arricchito il game. Complessivamente, quattro stelle piene e il consiglio di giocarlo (qui non è in italiano, ma altrove...). Giocato con iMac OS X 10.11.2 El Capitan.

[This is really an excellent game. The story is long, engaging and full of human characters and not to interact with, through scenarios well-made and full of details. We will also receive a nice lesson on the damage of pollution, along with many other small points of "reflection" on the relationship between man and nature. From the point of view of gameplay, I point out that many collectible objects are also hidden in the "pop screens" and in some mini-games: so watch out not to lose them! Some scenes with hidden objects are really challenging, while the mini-games are presented on several occasions with an "original" graphic design, although in the end they are quite easy to overcome (apart from the one with the marbles!) In this case, it takes a lot patience...). Good music and movies. Only small "flaw": the graphic style in some parts is a bit '"fumettoso" ... Too bad, because the complete realism, even if it is a story of magic, would have even more enriched the game.
