Rebels & Redcoats
 –

Skip It

'Rebels and Redcoats' is a major disappointment. Like it's sister game 'Peninsular Battles', the game uses a non-intuitive menu interface unlike other simulations from Hunted Cow. Everytime you play you will have to think about what button to select as well as where the active button actually is located. The game buttons themselves aren't much better. The tutorials lack crucial information about the mechanics of the game and are hard to understand even if you are a seasoned player of other Hunted Cow games. The game mechanics are sufficiently like other Hunted Cow products but oddly detached and a bit of a bore. And last of all, if you think 'Peninsular Battles' is overpriced at $10.00, take a look at R&R. PB offers 35 campaigns plus a tutorial; R&R offers 10 campaigns plus a tutorial. R&R is an overpriced letdown.

Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered
 –

PROPHET MARGINAL

It's a shame that more significant improvements weren't made to Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered, since playing both sides of a murder conspiracy is still such an interesting concept that's not often done right. However, the frantic button prompts, still-stupid stealth, and newly-introduced glitches make this Remaster way too unrefined.

Boring at first, but..

It is a little boring until you understand the mentality. But when you use to play it, you love it. In the other hand, there are so many DLC to buy and add some more fun.

LEGO® The Hobbit™

Awesome!!!

As usual Lego doesn't disappoint. The devs added more goodies to collect and the gaming mechanic is improved. Love the ability to move the camera around. Has some minor hiccups though, where it momentarily freezes. All in all another great game in the Lego franchise. Happy gaming!

XCOM: Enemy Unknown - Elite Edition

One of the best strategy games of this generation

This game is not perfect, but it is certainly one to be reckoned with.

I've had massive amounts of fun with this game, and sunk more hours in than I should have. It's very satisfying, and the port is very well done. If you love any sort of strategy, this is a very approachable game, while also being very challenging.

There are some balancing issues, for one thing, Snipers are overpowered as all hell, but that becomes irrelevant when you come across a brand new alien. Other than that, I cant recommend this enough.

This game is just something you have to experience. Everyone has to.

In short it is a solid shooter with a fantastic story, great art style and tone.

While maybe a tad bit expensive, this is still very much worth your money if you care at all about this series.

Sid Meier's Civilization V: The Complete Edition
 –

Fantastic Entry in this series

If you know Civilization, then you know what to expect.

If you don't, this is a strategy game about building an empire and making it last, whether that be through conquest, technological superiority, diplomacy, etc. Very fun game that you can sink a lot of hours into.

QUAKE 4
 –

Solid shooter with replayibility

A good shooter with a decent enough story, and can be played through multiple times. Nothing out of the ordinary however.

Endless Space - Emperor Edition
 –

The micromanagement is real

This is a fantastic game, especially for someone who loves astronomy and the possibility of space travel/colonization. My only gripe is that in order to be successful you must micromanage like crazy.

Mount & Blade: Warband
 –

A bit rough around the edges, but overall a fun time

This is a big open world game with some outdated visuals, cool combat, and great immersion.
