LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4
 –

Fun and simple, yet wast

I quite enjoyed it. Yes, it isn't your run-of-the-mill-AAA game, but it is fun, can be played in short bursts, and is very well done.

The LEGO part is really well done, and the humor is excellent. It really fits the Harry Potter world very well. The story is exactly what you've expect from the books/movies, but I would make it clear that in order to really enjoy this game, you need to have read/seen them prior. Most of the cut scenes are short and expect you to know why things happen. Otherwise things are *very* confusing. But you don't really need to know the story to play the game though.

Plenty of things to do, and after you've finished the game, there are hundreds of collectibles and hidden things to find.

Graphics are nice, gameplay is good although simple, but it has some good puzzles here and there. Controls are easy, but is clearly a console port. I've had much worse though (Looking at you AC2!) and did not trouble me.

If you want a simple and good natured game you can pick up and play for 20 minutes at a time, this is a good pick. Recommend that you like Harry Potter already though.

Fun and easy to play

Starships is very much fun. The game is simple and easy to comprehend. Just start playing and have fun, but don't expect to much depth.

Works fine for me, light and fun but needs better AI and better difficulty

The game works fine for me, I played the first 6 maps of the first campaign. I had few non major bugs but when playing a map I never get any problem. Perhaps the English translation isn't well done I can't say but the French version is ok.

It's a light strategy tactical wargame in the lineage of Battle Isle and History Line but with different mechanics, it is like a light simple Battle Worlds Kronos. UI has some good point even if it could be improved, it's ok. Rules are simple but there's multiple mechanics and many different units some types of buildings.

All of that is fun and pleasant to play, but I rate it only 3 because the game needs improvement of AI and higher difficulty level or at least option for higher difficulty.

Do not purchase, Not functional, questionable program

Doesn't function. Could have mis-listed requirements but said my system was compliant. Based on review of "tutorial" document questionable as to whether this is a professionally produced program. Written in marginal English at best. Do not purchase.

I enjoy it but...

...it keeps resetting itself for some reason, spoiling all my progress. I'd give it more stars if it would stop doing that!

Lacking anything Special

This game doesn't have much real substance. All in all, it feels like a mobile game that was pushed to the computer without any additions to make it more challenging. There are no options to recruit or modify your units so you're just set with those that the level assigns you.

Fantastic Game

This game is stellar. I bought it on a whim to see if I would like it, and it totally grabbed me from the start. I love the intuitive controls and the story of the game. The graphics are great and really unique for a game like this. The level of options and items is amazing and allows you to play through the game multiple times and have a completely new experience each time.
