Imagine if GTA was set in the post WWII America, and imagine if its characters were much more grounded and realistic. That's basically what this game is, and it is a lot fun.
I can say it for days, there is nothing more satisfying than the lightsaber combat of the this game and its predecessor. I also like how this game gives more choice, as now you can choose which missions you want to do first and even skip a few.
A great story, and the most empowering combat ever
The Force Unleashed is about the apprentice of Darth Vader, the time is somewhere in between the 3rd and 4th episodes of the movies. Throughout the game you go through his struggle between remaing loyal to his master, or listening to the words of the jedi he must destroy.
There has never been a game like this before, and that is due to both the story and the gameplay. The best part of the gameplay is the force powers that you have, as those empower you and just make you feel badass. That alone is an endless source of entertainment, and justifies buying this game.
I'm sorry to awkwardly put this at the end of the review. The game is great, and i meant that review wholeheartedly, but the version availabe here is a pain. It uses the GameAgent downloader, which is absolute garbage, and took me around 3 days to download when I can download larger files in an hour or two, and then on top of that, it downloads and older version of the game, instead of the newer one which is availabe at other places. I would like Aspyr to fix this ASAP.
I tried this game because I was getting tired of solving puzzles in dark and gloomy games to defeat evil. Ok, so there is evil here but there is also colour, good puzzles, funny characters and it leaves you feeling happy and relaxed. A brilliant silly funny game you will really enjoy!

Reminders of the Good Old Days
This is a classic adventure game. Not only is the intro done well but the art through the whole game is amazing and fun.
However I did encounter some scenes where I could not find the dialog options. They seemed to be stuck off the bottom of the screen. Not sure if that's a glitch on this version or what. But it did hinder my progress and I had to restart the game.
Otherwise very fun experience. Takes a bit of thinking for me I love these kind of games but I did struggle to figure out what to do next and got stuck. Have to resist the urge to look up an online guide.
If you grew up on adventure games like me then you will love this game.
Use hex based tactical combat to dominate foes on the Russian front of the Second World War. Fight as the Germans or the Soviets in a series of ever more complex missions.
