The Silent Age

Short, but with good art and presentation, lots of well-crafted puzzles too!

Broforce
 –

Good Old-school action game

Retro inspired action game with beautifully crafted pixel graphics and extremely fun gameplay (and with a coop campaign!)

In Between
 –

Good mix of genres

It's like a mixture of platform, puzzles and adventure genres, with very well done art and music, just the platform gamplay is not as good as it could be.

A Valley Without Wind 1 & 2 Dual Pack
 –

Mix of genres with diverse luck

The two games mix lot of genres, platform, adventure, puzzles, strategy, etc but overall it looks a little weird and complex

Guns, Gore & Cannoli

 –

Good simulation title

Very well done simulation game, lots of fun for the price!

Breach & Clear: Deadline
 –

Basic coop feature removed

For some weird reason devs deleted the coop feature, so if you bought two copies to play with someone (like me) then bad luck.

Enforcer: Police Crime Action
 –

Too buggy and without objectives

The game could be fun for the first hour or two (if you could tolerate the old graphics and the bugs) but after some time it gets very repetitive.

Europa Universalis IV: Common Sense
 –

Great Expansion

Another great expansion for the wonderful EU4.
Even though EU4 is hard to get into, it is so easy to play once you get the hang of it.
This expansion adds numerous things that have to do with diplomacy, and it is invaluable if you want more options to deal with your allies.

All My Gods
 –

Gods are a pain

I really think this game does not function correctly...every time I wanted to study science and had all the corrct resources, the game wouldn't let my go forward until I built taverns and schools that completey filled up the playing field...also Mars and his mommy kept popping up so fast, I had no time to make enough $$$ to keep them at bay...I got fed up and quit the game... wasn't much fun, not worth the money.

Oil Enterprise
 –

Waste of money...

Waste of $14. Not much strategy involved. Just plop down buldings and wait for the oil to be processed.

Mixed Feelings

Short version: I played all the way through, and I'm glad I did, but I'm not sure I want to play it again.

Long version: Very much a 'see for yourself' game. The graphics are unique, the gameplay is interesting, the enemies are innovative. I love the difficulty system (die or don't die, and unlock the ability to add selective challenges [enemies get stronger/faster/vindictive etc] depending on how you feel. The story is - by design - very linear, and gameplay with mouse and keyboard becomes very demanding in places. (hear sound, dodge, fire - only often the sound for one particular enemy plays only AFTER it attacks you, and healing leaves you no time to dodge. Those levels were... not fun.) And I really resented that you unlock new weapons/skills by finding them in the game... which means you need to play the rest of the level with the new weapon instead of your super-upgraded favourite one.

This is very much not a game for newcomers to the genre.

Awakening: The Redleaf Forest Collector's Edition
 –

The end

I have enjoyed this series of games and am glad they ended it here and did not drag it out into yet another. The frustrations are small. If you use the guide be aware that each chapter is a separate entity and not connected to other chapters also the last game is a pain

Nancy Drew: The Deadly Device
 –

Frustrating

I looked farward to this as I had enjoyed several other ND games but gave up after a short while because no matter what I did the security man ALWAYS got back before I had completed the puzzle I needed to continue

Nancy Drew: The Shattered Medallion

ND strikes again

After being frustrated at another ND game I gave this one a try and am pleased to say it did not disappoint!

The LEGO® Movie Videogame
 –

Perfect lego game

It's mybe my favorite lego game available for Mac. Most cutscenes are from the movie but there are a lot of surprises.

And of course you can here the song... you know which one I'm talking about.

Your kids love it (especially when they will see that they can collect a ninjago character) and you can play with them. Or alone, when they are at school. Yes, I said it !
