DEFCON

Good Game!

Foreign Legion is a really enjoyable, well polished game. It's very simple but very fun and has a great control system, unfortunately it can be too simple: First up there is only 1 map (a very small one at that) with a single objective: defend the town hall!. Understandably this is why the game is only $10 which is good value for any american players. But If you have to pay in Aussie dollars then its a bit of a stretch. Aside for these small gripes I love it though, this is a great game! If you haven't bought it already, do it now!

Hoyle Card Games 2009
 –

Very Slow

Everything except slots is very slow. I tried to play cards but it took the dealer almost a min. to deal out each hand. I tried to play Horse Racing. I placed my bet and they were off. After 15 min. they were still running, so I just lost my money and exited out of it.

I had the 2008 version and I was expecting this to be better.
I am going to just take this at a loss and get this game off my computer.

It is partly my fault. I did not read the reviews. That will never happen again!!!!

Return to Mysterious Island
 –

Good take on Jules Verne Classic

The game has challenging puzzles, a pretty in depth story and multiple endings which I enjoyed. I found the only thing lacking was a map would have been nice . All in all it is a great "point and click" adventure game, but you still need a keen eye. Playtime is long and stays somewhat close to the original classic story. Definitely challenging!

And Yet It Moves
 –

Challenging and Entertaining

What a great game! It requires equal parts planning and execution to get through each level. Once I started playing I couldn't stop! The first two levels gave tips on mastering some of the basic moves like timing your jumps, falling "correctly" and rotating your world to get where you want to go. Once you've gotten those down, they throw in some surprising challenges along the way that you've got to figure out for yourself. Five stars for a great concept and a truly addictive game.

Great Game

I always loved the classic clue game but this is much better. Plenty of mysteries to solve with some great added twists. I have been playing for a week and I have still not completed all the cases. Great for the whole family and the replay value is AWESOME!

Super Collapse! Puzzle Gallery
 –

Highly Addictive

I have played all versions and am now on puzzle gallery 5. They are great. They start off simple and get much harder as you go long. Hours of playtime. The trick is not to simply complete the puzzles, but in the fewest move. The hint system is good because you can stop it at any time and have it show you as much or as little as you want. You can also submit your score globally and go back and try to perfect puzzle you didn't finish in the fewest moves. Great game that you can leave for awhile, go back to and not have to remember where you are lol. I love them!

Great Take on the Classic Clue Game

It has the same cast of characters but with hidden ogject thrown in as well. People who like both board and H/0 games with find something here. The graphics are are good and sooo many cases. It's replay value is almost endless! You have plenty of time for each case (2hrs) but beware you are penalized a fair amount of time for mistakes. A great combo of board meets who dunnit meets H/O ! Hours of fun!

Plants vs. Zombies Game Of The Year Edition

Quite Good

Even after you finish the "game" there's lots more to do. I'm enjoying it quite a bit. One of the better games posted lately.

Luxor 3
 –

much better than luxor 2

I had loved the original Luxor, found Amun Rising too easy and hated Luxor 2, which I bought without reviewing it first and found it to be a real bore.

Luxor 3 has eliminated almost all of the things I found irritating about Luxor 2 and it's great fun!

Foreign Legion: Buckets of Blood
 –

LEGO Desert Storm !

This is great fun - your trooper looks like a LEGO soldier and he moves like one too. Just a 3rd person shoot 'em up but for $10 what a way to fritter away a long train journey or a wet saturday. Cartoon gore, great battle noises and a funky Gorillaz desertscape makes this a class bit of work. Buy.

Pocahontas: Princess of the Powhatan
 –

Relaxing and Enjoyable

I have to admit that once I saw how pretty the graphics were and how beautiful the music, I decided to buy the game just for those reasons. As it turns out, I also enjoy playing it. The hidden objects can be a challenge to find, but there is no time limit, the storyline is interesting, and with that lovely music playing in the background, it's fun to relax and take my time searching for those objects.

Dream Pinball 3D Classic
 –

Dream Pinball may not work on your Mac!

I have a new MacBook, purchased January 09. It meets all of the specs Runesoft specifies to run Dream Pinball, and yet Dream Pinball will not run! Runesoft "software support" made a few cursory (and virtually useless) suggestions, but ultimately stopped answering emails. Because there is no demo version, you will be SOL if it doesn't run on your system (check out the non-refund policy)! Call me old-fashioned, but I expect a $30 download to _run_!!!

I so enjoyed this game

I can only agree with previous reviewers that this is such a fun game! The puzzles were logical and do-able, without being too simplistic. I had a real sense of accomplishment by the end of the game.

The graphics were good, the scenes believable, and the characters agreeable.

My only slight criticism was that some of the expressions/quotes used might have been a little strong for younger players, even though one quotation came straight from the Bible!

Great time-wasting game

This game is simple to play and tons of fun - I don't usually buy games where there is time pressure or fast thinking necessary (I like puzzle games with time to think), but I tried the demo, and got hooked. Well worth the money.

Barkanoid II

This game sucks. It has a lot of potential but if you are looking for a fun game I would pass on this one. You can't even continue where you left off and they make it next to impossible to clear the levels! Don't buy this bullcrap!

Excellent Side Scroller

This game shows what can be done with side scroll technology. The game is as good as any rpg, fps, mmo, adventure, strategy game out there. The puzzles are not too difficult, just takes some thinking. Remember to sing sing sing.

The battles can be tough. It takes time getting used to the mouse and you will die often. Just make sure you save often.

The music and graphics are very well done. I play on a mac mini with Intel video and the game runs smooth.

For the price, you get a lot of game here. I recommend it highly. Very addictive.
