Mystery Stories: Berlin Nights
 –

amusing

The program works a little slow, and the frame is very small.

I was surprised though by the nice variations in the ways the clues are given. nice but not great.

Trouble with OS X Later Versions

I just purchased a new MacBook and after loading my games on it, I had trouble with this one. As one other reviewer said, you need to do a forced shut-down because you can't quit out of the game properly. The screen goes black and you can still hear the music playing. My computer is running version 10.5.7. Hopefully this will be fixed because other than a software compatibility problem, the game is great!

Babysitting Mania
 –

Terrible!

This game is called "Babysitting Mania" however, all you do is clean up the house! There is little to no interaction with the children. This game is pointless and very repetitive. Save your money and time!!!

Like the series

There is nothing different other than the puzzles from the rest in the series but I love the whole series. If you liked the ones before you will like this, if not then you won't. Gets much harder as the game goes on and I like the online scoring.

CLUE Accusations and Alibis
 –

better than original

I found it better than the first clue game and better than most H/O games. The best of both, but I like the feel it still has of the classic board game. If you are a clue fan this is def. a step up from the classic computer game!

Good Point and click

Like the person above the game is a good game with challenging puzzles. Great to play now because part 2 is coming out in the next couple of weeks.

What can I say, if Match 3 is your genre, it doesn't get much better!

Sprouts Adventure
 –

Too simplistic-goes nowhere

It's overpriced. In one long sitting (albeit obsessive) I finished everything there was to do and the rest was too much like everyday tedious chores. I liked the weird voices though.

I won't play it again now that I've finished because there is ABSOLUTELY no incentive to continue.

Sprouts Adventure

Fun only for a short while

The game was fun at first, but it became repetitive after a while. Cute graphics, though the voices are a little strange. I think the game is overpriced for how little time it takes to finish it - I got to the endgame by playing a couple of hours over 3 evenings. Probably best for kids under 12.

Addicting

I love this series. The puzzles may seem very easy at first, but believe me they do get much harder. There are over 300 puzzles and I have been playing for over 2 weeks so far. The goal is not only to complete the puzzles, but IN THE FEWEST MOVES I also like the fact that you can submit your score globally and see how you stack up. The hint system too is good. I often used it just to check my first moves to make sure I was on the right track. You can use it for as man or as few moves as you want. It is also a game where you can play, stop for a week and pick right up as each puzzle is individual. I find it totally addicting and must work at each one till i figure out the fewest moves!

Good Game!

Foreign Legion is a really enjoyable, well polished game. It's very simple but very fun and has a great control system, unfortunately it can be too simple: First up there is only 1 map (a very small one at that) with a single objective: defend the town hall!. Understandably this is why the game is only $10 which is good value for any american players. But If you have to pay in Aussie dollars then its a bit of a stretch. Aside for these small gripes I love it though, this is a great game! If you haven't bought it already, do it now!

Hoyle Card Games 2009
 –

Very Slow

Everything except slots is very slow. I tried to play cards but it took the dealer almost a min. to deal out each hand. I tried to play Horse Racing. I placed my bet and they were off. After 15 min. they were still running, so I just lost my money and exited out of it.

I had the 2008 version and I was expecting this to be better.
I am going to just take this at a loss and get this game off my computer.

It is partly my fault. I did not read the reviews. That will never happen again!!!!

Return to Mysterious Island
 –

Good take on Jules Verne Classic

The game has challenging puzzles, a pretty in depth story and multiple endings which I enjoyed. I found the only thing lacking was a map would have been nice . All in all it is a great "point and click" adventure game, but you still need a keen eye. Playtime is long and stays somewhat close to the original classic story. Definitely challenging!
