Nightmare Adventures: The Witch's Prison
 –

Beautiful artwork, excellent and challenging puzzles

Worth the time of play and worth the money. Many puzzles that were new to me, and challenging too. I'm going to play this again (that's something that doesn't often happen).

Avadon
 –

Another great Spiderweb game

I have been playing games produced by Spiderweb software ( a small independant company) and have always found them entertaining and engrossing. Many hours of play, and an interesting storyline is what is in store. Enjoy.

Mishap 2: An Intentional Haunting Collector's Edition
 –

great fun

I enjoyed this very much - the HO scenes are so terrifically animated and distracting, and the end games are great; even though I am terrible at these, I still enjoyed trying. Good value for the money.

Jodie Drake and the World in Peril
 –

same problem as first review

game opens on blank screen with music - have to turn off power to quit - extremely frustrating

Mystery of Mortlake Mansion
 –

Does not completely load

Wish I could play this, but the game only loads about 9/10 of the way and then freezes. I am running OS 5.8. Too bad.

Kuros
 –

Enjoyable and different

I enjoyed this new game, as it had puzzles that I had not come across before. Interesting story, although the female protagonist was somewhat irritating - well worth the time and cost.

Frankenstein: The Dismembered Bride
 –

Too short and very silly

Fuzzy graphics make the objects very hard to find, silly premise for story, and short. Annoying music and sound effects.

World Mosaics 3 - Fairy Tales
 –

Tough puzzles

I've enjoyed the two previous World Mosaics and this one is good and much harder. The story is just enough to keep you going, but the puzzles are the real entertainment. Good for logical thinkers and concentration.

Tiger Eye - Part I: Curse of the Riddle Box
 –

Fun and sexy too!

Terrific game - graphics and story are excellent, and nicely adult. Very good puzzles. Well worth your time and money. Don't waste your time worrying about unlocking the "Extras". They aren't puzzles, just extra stuff.

Jack the Ripper
 –

Some interesting puzzles, but very short

This is an interesting take on the Ripper mystery, and the puzzles plus HO scenes are more difficult than average, which is great. But it is short, short short.

Unsolved Mystery Club: Amelia Earhart
 –

Fun and informative

This is a standard HO game, but on the way you get to learn about Earhart and the various theories and suppositions surrounding her disappearance. Probably best for the young adult.

Lost in the City
 –

Different slant

This has elements that seem typically Russian (where the game was produced), dark, bleak story line, but interesting. Not too short, and not too difficult.

The Legend of Crystal Valley
 –

Different and intreguing

This game has a very interesting story and I kept playing initially because of that. But then the art, music and amuzing and adult dialogue kept me interested. The puzzles are not difficult and they are ones I have seen many times before, but the scenery and effects were new to me and lovely. Not a short game, but not too long either. Worth your money and time.

Mystery Case Files: Dire Grove Collector's Edition
 –

Another Mystery Case Files winner

I've enjoyed playing every one of these games, and this one is well done also. While I have liked Return to Ravenhurst best, this is well done, long enough and tricky enough to keep you entertained.

Nightfall Mysteries: Curse of the Opera
 –

Interesting and spooky

This game took a little time to get into, but I ended up enjoying it. Some of it is truly spooky, icky, and creepy. Not too difficult, and not too short. Enjoy.

Strange Cases: The Tarot Card Mystery
 –

Interesting, but nothing very new

This is a good HO game, with puzzles that you have seen before, but nicely done. All in all, a good game, but not a great one. Predictable story.

Steve The Sheriff
 –

Amusing and different

If you like a game with many "spot the differences", you will like this. Too many for me, but I did enjoy the underwater theme, and goofy story.

Hidden Expedition: Devil's Triangle
 –

Great fun, great gam

I agree with the other reviews. I can't wait for the next installment.

Strimko
 –

terrific and absorbing

This is a game that will make your brain happy! The peaceful, gentle music, lovely atmosphere and the challenge of these puzzles make time pass unnoticed. Well worth your time and money.

Avernum 6
 –

Another great game from Spiderweb

This is the last installment of the long running Avernum saga - Jeff Vogel has created a huge world with hundreds of quests, battles, and intrigue. I've been playing these games for years and love them. Definately worth the price, you get many hours of satisfying play.
