Wonderful and beautiful

This is what a game should be - challenging, beautiful to look at, great music, delightful story and characters. Well worth the money and time.

Righteous Kill 2
 –

Nothing new

This was just like the first Righteous Kill, just a basic HO game. The storyline is more engaging, and the way the game moves from location to location on the map is nice, but too much of the same activity over and over.

Laura Jones and the Secret Legacy of Nikola Tesla
 –

Enjoyable, but has problems

I agree with the above description - there are definately problems that need to be fixed. However, the puzzles are a cut above the usual, and inventive. Fix the problems and you have a first class game.

World Mosaics 2
 –

absorbing and challenging

I enjoyed the first World Mosaics, and this one is even better. These puzzles keep you thinking and the progression from easy to difficult is well paced. The music is pleasant, and the story line unintrusive and not important to the puzzles. Just hours of good brain exercise.

Dr. Lynch: Grave Secrets

Good story and challenging puzzles

Better than the average HO games, harder and more interesting. Worth your money.

Marooned
 –

Fun and different

Here's an HO game that has point and click elements, nicely done animation (especially of insects) and an interesting story. Not very challenging though, and I personally could have done with a lot fewer hints (of the bash you over the head kind), but fun just the same. A little too short, like so many games are these days, so I will only give it 4 stars.

Geneforge 5: Overthrow
 –

Another great Spiderweb game

Jeff Vogel continues to write great games that take time, have good story line, and can give hours of immersive fun. The graphics are simple, but timeless. Well worth the price. Enjoy.

Youda Legend: The Curse of the Amsterdam Diamond

Another game that is too short

This seems to be happening more and more (I don't think I'm getting smarter and smarter). When I can play through a game this quickly, it just irritates me, especially at 20 bucks a pop. This was a better than many HO games, many items were quite difficult to find, and the mini games were interesting, but not difficult. It would be nice to have an option to skip them, though. Nice music.

G.H.O.S.T. Chronicles
 –

Not bad but short

Good basic idea, the environment is interesting, the hidden objects medium challenging and traveling to put items together is not difficult. I could do without the woman dancing during the credits, though.

Avernum 5
 –

Another winner from Spiderweb

I have been a fan of Spiderweb software for years - This is the best so far of the Avernum series - good story, easy to use and engrossing. Try it out!

DinerTown Detective Agency

cute - good for young teens

Amusing and not too hard for kids, but way too easy for adults -

G.H.O.S.T. Hunters: The Haunting of Majesty Manor

Boring and too easy

There are much better hidden object games out there - don't waste your money

Plants vs. Zombies Game Of The Year Edition
 –

Great time-wasting game

This game is simple to play and tons of fun - I don't usually buy games where there is time pressure or fast thinking necessary (I like puzzle games with time to think), but I tried the demo, and got hooked. Well worth the money.

Dream Chronicles: The Chosen Child
 –

Worthy successor

This game is a worthwhile follow up to the previous two Dream Chronicle games - again it is beautiful to look at, has interesting puzzles, not too difficult, but like many other games of this type, it is too short. Enjoyable though.

This is a great game, good dialogue and story, terrific grafics and fun to play. Loved it, hope for more from these folks. Well worth the money.

Monster Quest
 –

Good idea, poor execution

The most frustrating thing about playing this is the inability to save your game at the point you wish - when you come back in, you have to play through and find items that you have finished several scenes before. This has kept me from finishing this game; I will probably finish later, but I can't recommend it for this one reason. Otherwise, it is informative and different.

A Vampire Story
 –

Fun and Amusing

Beautiful game with not too difficult play. The conversations can be very funny, and the surrroundings are engrossing. Not long enough, but there is a sequel coming. Enjoy!

Book of Legends
 –

Way too much dialogue

The story is simple and so are the puzzles. The conversations between brother and sister are irritating and waste time. Not worth the money.

Haunted Hotel
 –

Arrrrgggggh!

Too many games I play these days have terrible writing and spelling errors, but this one takes the cake. Not only is the story imbecilic, but the grammer and spelling drove me nuts. The basic games wasn't too bad and the mini games were ok, but please, save your money. Madame Fate, Azada and others do it so much better.
