AMAZING RACING GAME!

I just downloaded this bad boy this afternoon after I got the email from macgamestore. What an amazing game! Its visually stunning and plays so smoothly with all settings set to maximum on my MacPro*.

I initially played a bit with the keyboard but then plugged in my old Logitech Dual Action gamepad but the left analog stick kept drifting off to the left, annoyingly. To my amazement, a PS3 SIXAXIS controller I borrowed off of my little brother works even better and is recognized via Bluetooth and direct USB! I would HIGHLY suggest using a gamepad for this game if you have one, its a very noticeable difference in experience. Heck... I'd probably purchase a steering wheel just for this game! ...if my wife let me...! lol

The race types are amazing, the visuals are stunning, the physics are the best I've experienced in quite awhile... and its fluid... the gameplay is so fluid!

If you can run this game and you like the reviews I've no problem suggesting this game... my mouth was dropped open for the first few minutes just looking at this game!

My system specs; MacPro 2009/Single Quad-Core Xeon W3520 2.66GHz/Mac OS X 10.7.1/4GB RAM/Radeon HD 5870

Save your money!

Won't play at all in window mode and crashes more often than not in full screen.

Looks great but not even worth the 10 bucks.

Can't tell what it's like, since it wont go beyond the "you have 60 minutes" point. Click play and it disappears.

Two thumbs Up!

I find myself wondering how the heck and I suppose to get this robot out of this situation and on his way. You use things at your disposal to figure out how to get out of the room or situation. Imagine yourself in prison and trying to figure out how to break free. The game is more like finding a mechanical solution like Myst or Riven, my two favorite games of all time.

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Deluxe Edition
 –

Amazing.

I am completely obsessed with Assassin's Creed. The storyline is great, the gameplay is complex, but awesome. The game runs well for me, and it's well worth the money.

Very well done

I've played a number of time management games, and this one truly stands out. Lots of fun!

Roads of Rome

run of the mill

This time management game was fun, but others have done it better. It's a step down from such games as My Kingdom for the Princess, Build-a-Lot 4, and Royal Envoy.

Pinball Yeah!
 –

Impressing but a bit confusing

Very nice pinball game with some twists. Like most other pinball games, it takes time to figure out what you are supposed to do to score points. The "pub" game is best avoided, the "drunkenness" animation is funny but quickly gets unpleasant and you can't make it stop. The other boards are just great.

So nice looking, so unplayable

Graphically, this game is just right. Well, as long as you don't run into the bugs, and there are bugs. But that is a minor issue. A bigger issue is that the game is virtually unplayable. The controls (keyboard) are so bad that I lose control all the time, going into directions I had no intention to go. So unless it gets a major update, I won't play it any more. A waste of money - fortunately a small amount.

It might be a lot more fun with a joystick, but then they should say so.

The Sims 3

The Sims3

Total waste of money. Boring doesn't even begin to describe this game. It's is the worst of simulation. The graphics are so last century. The game play would cause a coma patient to fall asleep. Remember pong from the early 70's. Pong is better that this any day.

Great fun

I enjoyed the easy play and story line but it was even more fun for my grandchild. She enjoyed every minute of it.

The Stroke of Midnight Collector's Edition

Stroke Of Midnight CE

I really enjoyed this game, I found that if I could not drop an item, I just signed out and began again and was able to start the scene anew. And, yes, I finished the game :)

BUT!

I cannot get the Novel to go past the first page....and other times when I open it , it will open to random pages and not allow page turning either...IO watched all the credits, inserted my name in the fly leaf, what am I doing wrong?

Glowfish
 –

Fun and Fluid

At first thought, for those who have played Aquaria, is "this looks like aquaria!". Well, yes and no. Glowfish is a water like puzzle adventure game with good and bad things to meet and kill. It has soothing music, and circling water action, and its mostly driven by mouse direction and motions with the mouse (although you can use the keyboard eugh).

So, even though it has a general overall likeness to aquaria... Glowfish is a new game, and stands on its own with some new unique aspects. Both are great games, and you should own both!

This is a challenging enough game to keep adults entertained, and considering kids have better dexterity than us old farts these days, they won't have any problems with the puzzles and action either.

Great sound, fluid graphics (I run on a MacBook Pro intel), and smooth controls. A quality game for all ages!
