METAL GEAR RISING: REVENGEANCE
 –

Great game, just don't buy it for macOS/Steam!

This game's awesome; plays and runs quite well... but the company that ported it placed "phone-home" DRM in the Steam version and since they don't do games anymore the game tries to phone-home to a server that no longer exists and fails to launch. Mac App Store version is also no longer available. If you buy this, expect to play it on PC only.

AWESOME!

First of all double check in your System Preferences> Language & Text and MAKE SURE you have "English" and NOTHING else selected as the primary language-not even "U.S. English" will allow this game to launch. This caused me so many headaches for almost 3 days!

I'm running this on a 2009 MacPro 4,1 2.66GHz Quad-Core Xeon/4GB RAM/10.7.3/Radeon HD 5870

This game runs incredibly smooth! I've been playing this for a couple of days now and am really enjoying the action and environments. There's a lot of this game that's akin to Borderlands but the extremely varied environments makes a huge difference. Its hard to get lost indoors when no room looks like the one you just left.

I can't say much more about this game that hasn't been said already by review sites-check out gametrailers.com. I don't mind missing the online aspect actually... I'm married with kids and being able to pause for awhile is a big plus! Have a fairly low attention span-I'm from the "everybody born with ADHD and is a latchkey kid" era-and first-person shooters with short, action-oriented tasks is just right for me.

RAGE looks great and plays SMOOTHLY, surprisingly so. I had to have this the first day and don't regret the purchase at all!

PEACE.

AMAZING RACING GAME!

I just downloaded this bad boy this afternoon after I got the email from macgamestore. What an amazing game! Its visually stunning and plays so smoothly with all settings set to maximum on my MacPro*.

I initially played a bit with the keyboard but then plugged in my old Logitech Dual Action gamepad but the left analog stick kept drifting off to the left, annoyingly. To my amazement, a PS3 SIXAXIS controller I borrowed off of my little brother works even better and is recognized via Bluetooth and direct USB! I would HIGHLY suggest using a gamepad for this game if you have one, its a very noticeable difference in experience. Heck... I'd probably purchase a steering wheel just for this game! ...if my wife let me...! lol

The race types are amazing, the visuals are stunning, the physics are the best I've experienced in quite awhile... and its fluid... the gameplay is so fluid!

If you can run this game and you like the reviews I've no problem suggesting this game... my mouth was dropped open for the first few minutes just looking at this game!

My system specs; MacPro 2009/Single Quad-Core Xeon W3520 2.66GHz/Mac OS X 10.7.1/4GB RAM/Radeon HD 5870
