Spa Mania
 –

Enjoyed this game

I really enjoyed playing this game. It keeps your interest by giving you different combinations of customers who request different things and by gradually becoming more challenging. There are also some fun mini-games that allow you to get more supplies for the spa, and you can upgrade your equipment as you go. The story line is cute too. Kept me busy during a boring snowstorm.

Journalist Journey: The Eye of Odin
 –

Interesting. Fun. Pretty. Wish it had been longer.

I like HO games with a plot and some neat puzzles thrown in. I waited awhile to review this because it was my first HO game. But it remains a favorite. It was smart with nice art, a purpose to finding the hidden stuff, a good plot based on Norse mythology. An all around good deal!

3 Days: Zoo Mystery
 –

Fun. Just fun.

I enjoyed this game. It has a lot of variety, from finding the parts and building a weird sci-fi contraption that you then use throughout the game to tracking down kidnapped animals. Interesting, sometimes challenging, always upbeat. Pretty, too.

Avadon

Avadon: Old School RPG with modern elements

Spiderweb Software has always known how to weave an intriguing tapestry of epic questing, immersive atmosphere along with a compelling story, characters and dialogue. Avadon: The Black Fortress is no exception. Graphics are great, dialogue snappy, quests varied, leveling and loot addictive. Everything a solid RPG needs. Its pleasing to see that even after 16 years of making old-style RPG's, Jeff Vogel knows how to keep things fresh and interesting. Buy it!

Mini Ninjas
 –

Crappy and clunky!

Mouse control does not work properly, control settings must all be personalized, the game is just clunky and frustrating! Feels like a Wii game that has not been adapted to a mouse and keyboard configuration. Seriously, either adapt this game for Macs or don't sell it-it's that simple! I regret that I shelled out the bucks for this poorly conceived piece of *&%.

Chocolatier Complete Collection
 –

Great Games

The Chocolatier games are great games! They obviously get better as they progress, however, its great to play all of them. Make sure to play the first Chocolatier game first, though, or you'll be disappointed with it after you've played the more advanced 2nd and 3rd. I would definitely recommend buying this bundle!

Mystery Legends: The Phantom of the Opera Collector's Edition
 –

superb game

This game is clearly above all others. The puzzles are challenging and the search and find areas are fun and not too easy. Hours of fun and good play. Great graphics and story. 5 stars from me.

Assassin's Creed 2 Deluxe Edition
 –

Terrible controls, I second that!

I would have really liked to have played this game but the control system is useless as has been said earlier. I've played many console games and have also played many versions of Tomb Raider on my Mac so it's not like this sort of game is new to me.

I tried setting up a PS3 controller and a joystick. Only some of the buttons on the PS3 controller worked in AC2, and the joystick didn't work at all despite having calibrated and mapped both of them to the correct functions.

If I could get the PS3 controller to work with AS2 it might just be worth it but as it is now it's just money down the drain!

Delicious - Emily's Childhood Memories
 –

It would have been great BUT....

This would have been great to play as I'm a fun of the Emily Series but when it opens up, its all white. There is a sound but no pictures. I found out that this game doesn't support the graphics card ATI Radeon X1600 which I have since my Mac is a few years old. If this is your graphics card, don't bother to download as you're going to be disappointed like me.

I gave it 3 stars for it would have been...

Mystery Trackers: The Void Collector's Edition
 –

Excellent Game - Worth the CE price!

Don't hesitate to get this game. It was long, challenging, beautifully drawn, interesting puzzles, intriguing story. The bonus chapter was a follow up on one of the main characters - well done, brought the story further along.

Star Wars: Empire at War

Space war gameplay like movie

This is a very nice game.strategy game base on Star Wars movie. actually i am not an Star Wars fans but kinda like the movie. This game is same like other strategy gameplay like Total War ect. But this game is more complex because our war on land and outer space. all aircraft and soldier is adapted from original movie. the graphic is awesome. and the coolest feature is when we on war or not we can make the camera like real movie on widescreen watching the battle on movie perspective, i never find this feature on others game. How about music??? awesome!!! taked from original movie. So for anybody who like strategy game this is you must have.really recommended!!!!

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction
 –

Incredible!

The initial download was expectedly long, but installation was smooth. I even upgraded my video card and OS just so I could play this game. Had a couple early issues, (would only launch on the second attempt since I moved the original installation and the pref file got confused, so I trashed that file), native monitor resolution wasn't available, so I edited the .ini file, and finally white graphical artifacts caused by some conflict with my nVidia 8800GT which I fixed by turning off one of the advanced video settings.)

Otherwise, the game runs very well on my 2GHz Mac Pro. The graphics are incredible, gameplay is very engaging and fun. I'm not a big multiplayer, but I paid the extra $$ for the deluxe version and still feel like the game is totally worth the $30 I spent.
I'm excited to play it through again with the different modes.

Chocolatier 3: Decadence by Design
 –

Delicious!

The Chocolate lab is the best part of the game. It makes me hungry just looking at it! Loved the customization of colour and shape, would love extra shapes, or even a way to upload your own!

Story is a bit weak. Would like multiple factories to be able to make the same thing. Maybe also a way later in the game to manufacture new recipes without having to go all the way to the country of origin if you haven't made one up before? Was a little puzzled as to why Coffee blends turned up, but not really bothered, as I love coffee too.

Wow, this game is not worth $5

I have been a longtime fan of US racing. This is a joke. And very un-user-friendly. Stay away.

Commander: Napoleon at War
 –

Good Play if Not Realistic

A companion game to Commander: Europe at War, C:NAW attempts to recreate the Napoleonic wars using a similar map as used in C:EAW. Game play is altered to reflect the early 19th century in that the player uses ships of sail, horses and artillery instead of mechanized units, and warships of the 20th century. Instead of production points, C:NAW ships deliver horses. Instead of submarines, C:NAW provides Privateers. C:NAW has the same ease of play, fun factor, and scripting restrictions as C:EAW does. If you can get beyond the restrictions and one glaringly obvious fault in the game, you will probably enjoy it, even though I think the game is overpriced. What is the glaring fault? The Napoleonic Wars demands a tactical based map and game play. All Napoleonic battle sims have required this. Unfortunately C:NAW uses the same strategic map and unit design as C:EAW. You might have a difficult time, as I did, getting beyond the fact that 19th century artillery can fire over 100 miles on this game's map which is designed for strategic play, not tactical play. Overall, C:NAW is a great idea improperly implemented.

UPDATE: C:NAW is no longer supported. Be aware that if you purchase this game you will not be able to play it because it requires registration to a now nonexistent registration server to activate the game.

Twisted: A Haunted Carol

Read the fix

Never mind my previous review. Simple fix when I read FAQ. First download problem I've had on MGS. The second download of this game played perfectly. The SFX and graphics are very good.
