Simple, but entertaining

Funny and entertaining story play. The graphics and the art work is incredible. One of those well polished point-and-click gaming experience.

Fun!

This is a fun game. Sometimes stutters, but otherwise runs ok.
Love the character customization. Combat (especially mounted combat) has a high learning curve for those who are new to this type of game. Graphics are nice.

Nancy Drew: Ghost of Thornton Hall
 –

Fun Adventure Game

This was fun to play, and had a good story. The music, voices, graphics & puzzles, all were very good. Some puzzles were harder than others, but all were workable. Only wish Nancy could repeat the instructions. But you really need to play it in the dark. Some of the screens were extremely hard to see in normal light. Played at night without lights, it's fine. We think this is one of the better Nancy Drew games, but we really haven't played that many. Fun to play!

Nancy Drew: The Silent Spy

Fun, but limited.

This is a cute game, but missing something. Limited locations and not much to do, but it is worth playing. Just don't expect a great game.

Screen resolution

Will NOT ugrade resolution to more than 800x600
for the lack of forethought I have relegated this time honoured favourite to the bin.

Buggy as hell

Aside from the items raised by the first reviwer to give it 1 star, I feel that once you get into it, its livable with, though does severely hamper the game. My argument is that there is little logic on what to build where in association with anything else. I forced my way through to around the 7th island, but by the 4th, had experienced numerous dropouts, switch offs and other unexplained closedowns. I decided to save on a very regular basis. I was also led to believe somehow, that if you restarted a level, that the island would change - some are just nigh impossible to build on and get anywhere. I also found that I had to put it on fast, despite having loads of resources at times, in order to get buildings and resources completed. For me, as much as I love this type of game, it just annoyed the crap out of me. Now abandoned and awaiting some severe debugging - no indications of what causes dropouts - they just seem to happen randomly.

Great game but could be better

I found this game to be pretty fun. its dificult when you dont have a mouse but its enjoyable all the way...it would be more fun if you could do multiplayer or if their were more levels.

Excellent

This puzzle game surely sets a good standard since it offers lots of intriguing challenges and puzzles of any kind mixed with joyful, thrilling and varied music themes. Cinematic atmposphere and difficulty level increasing progressively. My wife and I enjoyed this game a lot and gifted it to a couple of relatives for their kids (they liked it too very much)

Evergreen with an "oniric" atmosphere

Another "classic" game which everyone should play... You have to drive a living cell through specific environments trying to survive in multiple ways but basically with a primary rule: in order to move around your cell must sprout some of its matter but the goal is to absorb minor cells in order to maintain an equilibrium. Believe me: it's not easy as it seems. There are plenty of tricky situations where you have to think it twice before doing something. Evergreen challenge with music themes truly captivating (yes, use your headphones to enjoy fully the game).

Heroes of Might & Magic V

Fine achievement for a classic RPG

I played Heroes of Might & Magic on Mac for over a decade: the gameplay has been enriched in time with further scenarios and creatures, gorgeous graphics and effects, compelling story and cinematic representations. A good rpg indeed.

Secret of the Lost Cavern

Good story, interaction and graphics

Written by a French team, this adventure puts us back in the Stone age in Europe, in a real location. The story is original, the challenges require a moderate effort and the locations are very beautoful and detailed, making the interaction absolutely realistic. This adventure dstinguishes from many others making it a unique experience,
