This is a classic hidden object game. There are a few mini-games to play along the way, but for the most part, you are trying to find cleverly camouflaged items. The list given per page is often cryptic in that you need to figure out what to find. The name of the item is concealed in a short clue. This game has provided us with hours of game play.
As Role Playing Games go, Age of Wonders provides all the excitement one can crave. As with many games of this genre, it is addictive. Once you start, the hours just pass by. The mix of magic and brute strength makes this game play appealing.
Bejewelled 3 is not a basic match three game. It offers four types of play which means it is good for whatever level of experience you have. For the novice, the Zen game has no time limits. You just keep racking up the points. The Classic is as you would expect. For the more expereinced player there is the Lightning round, a tough time limit game, and the Quest level in which you need to complete certain tasks to move on. No matter what level of match three play you are at, Bejewelled 3 will keep you engrossed.
Melissa K. is more of an adventure game than hidden object. There are items to be found in the many rooms. You have to backtrack to spots you already visited to get more items. The puzzle games are varied with just enough instructions to help you along. There are lots of rooms to visit and hours of fun awaiting you.
Monopoly is just like the board game only it plays much faster. All transactions are quickly handled by the computer. Money exchanges, purchases, fines, etc. are automatically completed for you. You can play by yourself against the computer or with four players. The game play is intuitive. All the rules and fucntions are easy to find. If you like the board game, you will like this computer version.
Echoes of Sorrow has two levels of play which makes it good for the novice as well as the experienced player. There is a good mix of HOG and mini-games. Unfortunately, the replay value is low as all the HOG screens and the mini-games are the same each time you play.
This was a great group of three Hidden Object Games. It is not often that a new twist is put into a game but Snark does have one. The mirror world that links two similar but different windows was a lot of fun. It created a completely different feel to the game.
The mini-games here are challenging and original but not impossible. Along with the excellent graphics, there is an intriguing story-line. I particularly like having to use inventory items to solve the hidden object screens.
Well camouflaged items to find as well as clues to unravell in order to find all the hidden objects in the list. Hours of fun for the Hidden Object enthusiast.
The game lives up to its theme of being haunted with phantoms and secret passages everywhere. Therre is a good mix of Hidden Objects and mini-games. There is hours of game play awaiting you.
Moai is a fun time management game. It is so entertaining watching the animated figures running around building, harvesting and sometimes breaking down the buildings. The clock running adds some excitement to the game play. I wont quit a level until I get the three stars awarded for an ace of a job.
Peggle is the most addictive casual game I have played in quite a while. It is especially so because I have someone to compete against for the high score in each of the levels. The game play is very simple but winning a high score at each level is very hard.
This game comes with five levels of difficulty which makes it suitable for all players from novice to experienced. It stresses more the mini-games than actual hidden object pages and these games will test your reasoning skills to the max. There are quite a few carnival characters that need to be freed which provides many hours of play. We thoroughly enjoyed playing it and will be replaying it again.
I really like the images of Amsterdam that precede each of the hidden object windows. There are a lot of hidden objects to find in each scene. In fact, the game would be better if there were less items to locate. I can click randomly around and locate a lot of them without actually having to specifically look for them. This would be an excellent beginner's introduction to hidden object games.
I found Kuros to be quite challenging. The objects to be found were very well hidden. There was one hint allowed per scene, if you could find the hidden lens. Fortunately, clicking around was not penalized. Lots of fun
Escape from Rosecliff Island is a pure hidden object game. We had lots of fun trying to locate the objects in each of the scenes presented. There is no travelling around from one spot to another. Each screen presented us with intricate and very well hidden objects. There is a large amount of items on each screen. Each time my eyes went from one side to the other, I detected more and more things present. And there was the added bonus of locating two locks each time.
This was a wonderful Hidden Object Game. The scenes were tricky enough to keep us working hard at looking for the objects without being impossible to find. We really liked the zoom-in function which allowed us to get a close-up view. It was needed with some of them.
