A lot of extra content, and no more FOMO. Would definitely recommend it if you are a fan of synthetics or want to try out different starts.

Adds an extra layer to playing wide.*****

The improvements to vassalization are massive, together with the new starts there's no more need to absorb the whole galaxy. With the extra control over your vassals you can have them focus their production on what you need instead.

The person that said that credits can't solve everything just didn't have enough credits to try. This DLC really focuses on dominating your stretch of the galaxy through finanical acumen, and is a welcom expansion to the already existing mechanisms.

Pretty decent DLC that expands your repetoire with some interesting options to the
in the form of intellegence, becoming the Crisis, or even the Galactic Emperor. But sadly doesn't add enough to be worth it full price.

Adds a fun little species with their own mechanics. Worth it if playing a undead scourge seems right up your alley; but definitely not essential.

Hearts of Iron IV: La Résistance

I spy with my little eye*****

While some of the content should arguable have been in the base game, overall the DLC is worth it. I love the spies, and if you like playing France or Portugal, the added focus trees are pretty much esential. Especially the Portugese one is just straight fire.

Get this DLC on sale, This DLC is kind of hit or miss. While it is actually decent and I have enjoyed it, it only seems to add focus trees that should have been in the base game anyway. Mods might actually do an equally good job in a pinch.

It's called Crusader Kings for a reason. And this DLC just adds that little cherry on top. It just takes religion, and crusades, and makes it that bit better.

Crusader Kings III: Royal Edition

CK3 is everything that CK2 was, but improved.*****

A great successor to CK2, and a lot more feature complete than its predecessor was at this stage; this game is definitely GOTY material.
