Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

Beyond The Call of Duty!

Yes, these folks have really done a great job which I consider beyond the Call of Duty! Graphics, sounds, gameplay, action, plot, characterization, relevance, - all the elements and more of a very successful and great gaming experience!

DEEP FUN!

I found this game to bring me not just fun, but DEEP FUN! There's great graphics, a good story line, and a some characterization that is at times comical but relevant to the story line - at first it is hard to control but after a few tries, you get used to it and can manuver properly! Steady as she goes!

Sid Meier’s Civilization: Beyond Earth – The Collection
 –

A DIFFERENT SPIN, BUT THE SAME OLD GAME

For those who like to play CIVILZATION, this is another extension and twist on a winning formula - just like the JETSONS were the mirror image of the FLINTSTONES, this game is the mirror image of the CIVILIZATION games that came before it. Good Strategy, nice graphics, etc. and one can get lost in all the different permutations and combinations of nurturing your people! Have fun and don't take this game too seriously otherwise you'll be losing lots of sleep!

Another great Samarost game.

I've played each Samarost game from the first one and they keep getting better. This one has the best story, graphics, and soundtrack yet.

Fun little walking puzzle game

Kingdom's Heyday
 –

A Charming City Builder

A little frantic but it's pretty and it's intuative. Lots of different scenarios and options. You spend some time sitting around waiting for taxes but it's all part of budgeting resources.
A very enjoyable game!

Airport Madness 3D

Airport Madness 3D

This type of game is really not my cup of tea - so read other reviews. But it is OK for what it is-and it was free with the purchase of two other games. It is useful to pay attention to WinGameStore sales.

All My Gods
 –

More Addictive Than I Thought

At first I was a little frustrated with this one, but I stuck with it and after about 20 minutes I found it to be quite enjoyable. There's more to it than you might expect. This is now added to my list of things to play when I've got a little extra time.

Zombie Solitaire
 –

This Game Is A Crack Up

So, the zombie apocalypse is brought on my a guy who eats a tofu burger. You discover a map to escape to the Island of No Zombies, and to advance across the map, you need to... play hands of solitare. This is as good a reason for solitare as I can think of.

The Walking Dead
 –

Just wow!

My first TellTale game. I can't believe i didn't play it earlier. I'm a big fan of TT games since.

I can't say much because I would spoil too much but... I can say that I love this game. If you like adventure games with rich story, good music, good acting and everything that zombie adventure game should have you should buy it as soon as possible. Feels train guaranteed. :)

Unique adventure game

The game is a walking simulator with unique graphics. It's pretty short but It has touching, inspiring and enjoyable experience. It's more like a movie than a game but still gameplay is fun. The story doesn't make a whole lot of sense but it's addictive. I really like to reflect on different aspects of it.

Dragon Age 2
 –

Sabotaged by DRM protection

I purchased Dragon Age II when it was first released. Recently, I attempted to reinstall it on my MacBook Pro only to be blocked by hidden file checking software within the program called 'securom' which would not let me install the software. I soon discovered that this 'securom' was a long standing irritant to buyers of Dragon Age II (for that matter other EA and Origins products as well). All attempts to fix this have failed. Perhaps you will be luckier than I, My purchase of Dragon Age II was via an online retailer that no longer exists.

UPDATE: It has been a frustration couple of days but I finally got my Dragon Age 2 install working. However if you ask me how, I doubt that I can recreate the convoluted method I used to get it done after 3 more unsuccessful attempts. I also remembered why I vowed never, never, never to buy a game from EA/Origins again as I sat glassy-eyed examined other EA 'games' I own that no longer function. The secret to installing Dragon Age 2 on a Mac is first to change the current date on your Mac to '3/11/2014' in order to bypass the securom date check. You can put the correct date back later. Next, you need an account both at EA and Origins to complete the authorizations neccessary to actually play the game. Beware that both EA and Origins verification methods for registration are not user friendly. And last of all, I changed the rating above - The game itself is truely a 4-5 star game; but Mac support from EA/Origin however remains a 1 star.

I also installed my Dragon Age: Origins for Mac (purchased back in 2009) with no problems whatsoever and without the idiiotic stumbling blocks of Dragon Age 2.

PuppetShow: Destiny Undone

Want to Like this Game: Keeps Crashing!

It's a beautiful and entertaining puzzler with an intriguing atmosphere and story...but it keeps crashing! I can't even finish the game which is very sad since I wanted to see how everything turned out and came together. I don't regret the purchase and play, but I hope at some point I can figure out why it won't stay open...

Adelantado Trilogy - Book One
 –

Stopped Playing Long Enough to Review

This game is quite a tension-filled but entertaining ride! Cute graphics with diverse locations. The tasks and goals are pretty similar from map to map but do show some variety and if you're someone like me you don't mind repeating a map to get better times, find the secrets, and just set up buildings more efficiently.
A nifty, engrossing little adventure game all told. Only a few spelling errors and sometimes the goals seem to repeat but it's still one of my favorites.
