Rescue Team 3
 –

Fun game.

I really enjoyed rescue team 1 & 2 so was glad to try the 3rd game. This version is Fast paced and fun. Some of the improvements to the game were positive such as
the better animation of characters, the inclusion of robbers, doctors & firemen. The use of a small tick to register a selected action was an excellent idea, particularly useful when the game reaches a more hectic pace. Having a best time record was also a positive change.
I loved the animal rescue scenarios - rounding up the rabbits and squeaking badgers made me laugh. I think that a purley animal resuce game would be amazing.
Changes to the game that were embarrassingly annoying were the characters and conversations between each level. Trying to appeal only to a male audience I think is also a mistake and may account for the reason why this version of the game is rated lower than the previous games. However my biggest grumble about this game is the fact that the gameplay to achieve gold level is virtually impossible to acheive on many levles and I doubt very much that any of the staff that developed this game actually trialled the game to this level. The time is ridculously short on many levels and even perfect game play will not acheive gold - frustrating and reduceds replay value. I have played Rescue one and two and felt that the levels were set just about right, they gave you a challenge that you could eventually achieve .....this aspect of the game 3 is very annoying.

Grim Tales: The Stone Queen Collector's Edition
 –

Another "grim" winner!

A good game. You don't need the CE version to enjoy a good well thought out game with a proper ending but the addition of a good bonus game makes this a winner! A good ending for a well written series of games!

A Complicated Mess

Just bought this game on special and thank Jesus cause if i payed full price id be screaming my head off, the game mechanics are way complicated.the graphics are good and it doesnt seem to lag, but whats the point if you cant figure out how the game works, the tutorial suxs it doesnt really teach you anything, The economics system doesnt make any sense nor does the diplomacy, Crusader Kings 2 is a much better buy, easier to understand and sure it lags a bit but a least its easy to figure out, unlike this complicated mess.

Botanicula

Charming and weird

Botanicaula is gorgeous, funny, smart, and charming. Despite the strangeness of it, everything feels very human. And the strangeness itself is very engaging. It's great to dive into a place that's so truly foreign and so beautiful. Every bit of it's wonderful, including the music and sound design.

Strike Suit Zero
 –

Plays beautifully

Plays beautifully on my MBP 2.3 GHz i7. I really wish they would label the large ships in battle. I want to save the Titan, but I just don't know which ship it is or where it's located. I like the story, but found that the ending didn't seem to justify the difficulty in getting through the last section. It's much more fun to play the middle levels, after you finally get the strike suit. I would also prefer a more prominent warning when you're leaving the battlefield. I love the look and behavior of the strike suit, so my gripes end up being pretty minor. The massive space battles look amazing and render effortlessly.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
 –

Gutes CoD

When I started the game the first time, I was pretty skeptical. Of course CoD shoot has its weaknesses, stupid enemies without tactical depth, straight tube levels and little own decisions. On the other hand, the graphics are excellent and the story gripping. I have been through the campaign quickly, but that does not matter because you also like to repeat a few times missions. The arcade mode ensures then again for a motivation boost. Unfortunately shines Modern Warfare 1 not just with a huge selection of weapons, the developers have apparently restricted to the essentials. Since it looks much better in Black Ops.

King's Bounty: The Legend

Graphic and crash problems

What appears to be a good game very sadly let down by the fact that each time you load it the characters including your own are not visible, apart from small pieces of them. The only solution I have found so far is to keep exiting and reloading over and over until it does you can see your character. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Even if I quit and restart mac.

When I do eventually get the characters to load if I open spellbook it crashes/freezes.

Can't find any support or updates for this game either.

FlatOut 2
 –

Fun, but no more online mulitplayer

Smashing good time - cartoony mayhem, not a race sim. A deal for $5 sale price. Fans of crashy racing should find $10 list acceptable.

BUT know that online multiplayer is no longer supported. Supposedly P2P options exist but not on Mac. LAN yes, online no, alas.

This game cheats!

I bought this for my iPad 3 weeks ago and I can't get ahead because of all the weird words the CPU keeps throwing in. Words that originate in Hindi and words that are not even words! You never know what words its going to pull out. I miss the old version of this from 2008. :(

Assassin's Creed 2 Deluxe Edition
 –

Great game.

Great free-running stealth action, I also loved immersive The Da Vinci Code like story and puzzle, actually it's hard to stop playing once you started.

You may feel control is uncomfortable with keyboard at first, but shouldn't take long to get used to it.

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Deluxe Edition

Assassin's Creed 2.5

Single player mode is as perfect as AC2.

The problem is, that only few people play multiplayer mode.
If you are after multiplayer experience, you should buy console version.

Plants vs. Zombies Game Of The Year Edition
 –

Simple and Fun

If you are looking for some fun and simple game to kill time, you might want to check this out.

The only thing I didn't like is that the game play is bit slow and there's no way to speed it up.

FlatOut 2
 –

Not bad

The entire gameplay is bit too silly, but not bad.
You might want a gamepad for this like other racing games.

Anomaly 2
 –

Single player mode is too short.

While this is a good tower offense game with cool graphics, single player mode has 14stages or so, and you can finish it less than 8hours.

I don't think this game worths 15bucks, just wait for sale.

Back to the Future: The Game
 –

A must have for BTTF fans

I was quite surprised by Marty's voice, it almost made me think M.J.Fox himself dubbed it.

The game play is actually frustrating but so far the story is good, there is no reason not to buy it if you are BTTF fan!

Metro: Last Light
 –

Do not miss this game if your Mac can handle it

Summary:
Metro is a dark, graphically very good and perfectly ported game. It tells its story with just enough cutscenes to allow for some rest between (or during) each chapter.
The only two "not as good as the rest of the game" things are the level design (linearity) and, sometime, the animations and AI of the NPCs.

The good points:
- From a technical point of view, it's one of the best port I've seen: The graphics are great and the game performs perfectly, even at max settings. Although I've played it on a computer well above the minimum specifications, the game should be playable with good quality on many recent Macs with a dedicated GPU.
- There's a story, with some surprises and a lot of cutscenes. They can be skipped for a more "action packed" and less "story driven" gaming experience (Although I don't see any reason to skip them).
- The graphic style is dark and fits perfectly with the game's post-apocalyptic world.
- The soundtrack is very good. In game-sound is also very good and seems to be exploiting the optical output (for true 5.1 sound).
- Gameplay (Keyboard + mouse) is good, although Aim-assist is enabled by default (It can be disabled).
- There's enough content to justify the price even with only one playthrough. Above that, the game can be played more than once... I will just because there's more than one ending!
- My XBox 360 controller (USB) was recognised by the game. The drawback is that it can't be disabled in-game and must be unplugged. As I dislike playing FPS with a pad it remains untested.

The "Not as good" points:
- NPCs sometime have strange reactions and less than perfect animations.
- The levels are a bit linear.

The bad:
Hmmm... let's see...

Conclusion: Excellent port of an excellent game. If you like a good FPS from time to time and have some money to spend, buy Metro.

Some items from these extra contents (such as fire hawk) help you a lot, a must have for who can't get enough with vanilla Borderlands2.
