Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars

Great Game

This is a great sequel to the other 2. It has superb graphics, amazing gmeplay, and pretty good sound. This game is very realistic, with reactions to fire, smoke and things like that. It's a great game if you liked the other 2.

Non-US Dictionary

The game is good, but for myself as an Englishman it is very frustrating. The dictionary used is very different from that used here in England - this is especially true when it comes to short words but there are many colloquialisms that we would normally use that do not appear in the M-W dictionary. And someone seems to have made an arbitrary decision to disallow words that might by some be considered rude ('shat' is an example that was rejected today that I would certainly not consider in the slightest obscene). So, my request is to be able to select the dictionary so we are not restricted to one country's version of English.

Sally's Salon

It was good but repetative

Initially I enjoyed this game a lot, it was nice buying all the new things from the shop but once you had done that you couldnt purchase anything else and you spend the rest of the game just repeating the same old thing. The only thing that is slightly different (and I mean slightly) is the layout of the shops and the monetary target you need to reach. I got bored after the first 10 or so goes. Generally a good game but too repetative for me.

Dream Chronicles

I have been stuck in the woods at the cross roads between the mansion and the village for a month!!! Is there no way I can get a hint as to how to get to a path once the lamp is constructed and lit and the wooden tiles are placed correctly on the tree trunks.

Suprisingly Engaging

I initially played it as a demo. I admit the graphics could use some polishing. But! Once into the game I found that the games, quests, and complexity engaging. I have played it several times and each time I find new challenges. I am drawn into the excellent story structure, there is not predictable to the end game. Am looking forward to the next edition in this story!!!

Click, Play, Repeat

Great fun, puzzles are different every time. Love the story to hold it all together. Graphics and sound are very polished and the biggest reward of this game! Well worht it!

Hours of excellent gameplay

This may not be a game you can instantly drop into, but nor does it pretend to be. There is an initial learning curve, but for any experienced and dedicated strategy gamer they wil find themselves coming back to this game again and again. It's intelligent and complex, and not for those who just want to blow up nazis.

Beautiful!

The graphics are amazing. The puzzles are fun, but very easy to crack. Would like to have had more complexity. Another installment maybe?

Dream Chronicles

Disappointed!

I quite enjoyed the demo, not knowing that I'd nearly completed the entire game. Can't believe I spent $20 on a game that plays for less than two hours. Second time through is so bor-or-or-ing. What a waste! And the ending just cries for a sequel . . . for which I'm sure I'll be expected to shell out another $20 - Forget it!

Creatures: Village

First let me say that I am an avid gamer. I spend more of my free time playing computer & video games than I'd like to admit. I dont know if I missed something in this or what - and I do have small children so I've played plenty of kids' games - but this game consisted of choosing your creature & them watching them go someplace & maybe bounce a ball. Or pick something up. Then...nothing. It was a painful experience that I hope I can forget soon. Wish I could have my $20 back.

Ancient Hearts and Spades
 –

Not very challenging

Even on the hard level, other team is always set. No one but you bids a nil and your "teammate" may or may not cover your nil. Disappointed in the lack of competitiveness in Spades. Hearts plays well.

Battlefield 2142
 –

Fantastic, despite the bugs

Very fun game! The game play is very similar to Battlefield 2, but players of Battlefield 1942 will probably be able to figure things out pretty quickly too. A few problems with freezing (and not being able to force quit out, forced restart) but the game play is about as fun as it gets. Try the new Titan game type maps, it's a lot of fun.

Travelogue 360 Rome: Curse of the Necklace

I played the game in its entirety, assigned a new "user" then had to locate the identical objects all over again. I expected unlimited play with oh so many objects to locate. Was fun the first time around. Boring the second try. I'm disappointed that I bought the game.

Reel Deal Card Games
 –

Needs work

With Texas Hold 'em I had hold cards Q,10. At the turn card there were two more 10's on the board (i.e., I had 3 of a kind). When the betting was done I lost, because the game didn't recognize that I had 3 of a kind; it did not acknowledge my 10 hold card! Yes, it's only an inexpensive game, still what's the point? The programming is off! Sorry...

Project Nomads

Save your money

Interesting concept but poorly implemented. You're a first person player in what they're trying to make a RTS battlefield. The problem is this accentuates the clunkiness inherent in RTS, the inability to multitask effectively. So you wind up moving your island, then stopping and shooting. Boring.

To make it worse, you can't remap the keybindings, which should be a basic feature in any game you plan on charging people money for.

Let your Id out to play...

Excellent substitute for those days when you feel like going out and doing the real thing. Postal is a lot more fun for everyone involved than actually going on a shooting spree.
