Not very good ://
Good gameplay and storyline but bad graphics and the characters kind of teleport instead of walking, a real let down as the storyline is good. Maybe Avernum 7 will be better? Rated 3 stars on the basis that minor improvements would make a big difference
this game is/was awesome from the day I bought it I would definitely recommend the game to the 15 and up crowd. my reasoning is the game is not inappropriate or anything like that, just that the levels were a little difficult for my nephew, who is 11, to complete on his own.
This game is really good, I only have the demo at the moment but the value for money is immense if you buy it, im gonna get my new mac and buy this game so i can run it faster, its a bit laggy on my old macbook on full graphics, great gameplay, great fun graphics and amazing storyline, i hope to see more games like this for mac :D
I love the Mystery Case Files Series, but Prime Suspects freezes my computer. I persist, but this afternoon it froze in the same place three times. Grrrrr...
I was a beta tester for the PC version of the game, and thought it was a great extension of the Settlers series (which is great to have back on the Mac!) I didn't buy the PC version, because Ubisoft's DRM scheme forces you to be online to play. Enough of my "casual" game play is where that's not possible, that it was a deal-breaker.
The description of the game on the PC talks about the DRM measures used - but not here. Before I buy, it would be nice to know whether I need to be online to play... Macgamestore? This really is a great game, and it would be wonderful to be able to play on my laptop in an airplane.
This is a challenging game. After I tried it, my friends checked it out and were hooked too. Software does have some glitches and you have to restart your computer to get it running.
Return to Mysterious Island 2, the sequel to adventure game Return to Mysterious Island released in 2005, and inspired from Jules Verne’s novel The Mysterious Island.

Fun... but keeps freezing
This is a cute H/O game and we were enjoying the whimsical characters... but this is the 3rd time that it's frozen my Mac to the point where I have to reboot. Completely detracts from the enjoyment to the point where I'm hesitant to play. Very frustrating. I would normally give it about 3.5 stars, but the glitch prevents me from assigning anything above a 2.
I just bought this game. Is very addictive. Lots and lots of levels. Not like a lot of games that has a few levels and then the game is over. This is well worth the price. loads of fun.
