Love this game

I first played this game years ago when I was in my early teens, and fell in love with it immediately. As a reviewer below said, it's "shallow fun". In all the best ways! It's simple, but still makes you use your brain, while being ridiculously fun at the same time. The bright colours and simple graphics make you feel good and let you focus on playing.

And it's cheap! For the number of levels, and the hours of fun it provides, $6.99 is a VERY good price!

Love it, BUT

I frigging love this game, and I almost had a heart attack when I saw that it's on the Mac Game Store! BUT, it's not compatible with Intel Macs!

REALLY, Playfirst??? I mean, REALLY???

Sad that I can only play the demo version on a browser. But if it ever becomes compatible, I will download it in a HEARTBEAT. It's so fun and addictive! If your Mac is compatible, BUY IT NOW!

Well i was really excited to play this game but as i progress through my campaign, i tried to load one of my most recent saves but the kept on crashing.

Also i was playing galactic conquest it freezed screen when i was about to enter a battle..

I also noticed that theres a delay whenever you try to go into either space or land battles

A great game but i hope you can fix these problems...

Old-school but innovative

Classy 2D adventure game. A lots of very clever features that enriches the playing experience throughout the game. Nice music, too, and simple but charming graphics, and, most of all, the game has character!

It turned out to be very relaxing to play this game, as the difficulty level is perfect: you almost never get stuck but it takes some effort to pass certain phases.

And I love the idea of female character that has enormous powers but feather-like movement.

Minuses: save game is lousy. It only takes you back to the beginning of an episode, although there are save points on the way. so if you quit playing between episodes/worlds, you need to start from the beginning of that world. This feels pointless, but in the end it wasn't such a big deal, really. Also, the game could be longer, but then again it's just 10 bucks.

I didn't find the controls hard at all, quite the opposite, enjoyed figuring out how to jump from a to b, or how to get certain object to move with you.

The game is just filled with nice details, like the ability to move objects while you yourself move to other direction, the power make big chunks of concrete blocks fly, to be able to control wind, and so forth.

I can recommend this if you just want to get your mind off of other things but not learn a complicated playing system. just the kind of game i was playing 20 years ago with C-64 & Amiga 500!

Empire: Total War™ - Gold Edition
 –

What a blast of a game

I'm so flashed by this game really, i do not know where to start. The Campaign Mode is very detailed and fun to proceed. I already liked Rome Total War. But now? Forget about Rome. Empire is Total War in it's perfection. The port is well done by Feral. It runs smooth and almost crash free (only one since 100 hours). On my mac high resolution options are all available and i use them (Graphic-card ATI Radeon 5770). Looks real good.

Stronghold 3 Gold (old publish)

Awesome But Not.

I love this game, I was a fan of the second even though I could only play for a few minutes until the my crappy computer froze.

Unfortunately, even with my brand new 27" iMac fully upgraded and should run this game no problem, it still freezes every 10 min to an hour!

It would seem this game is kinda buggy, soldiers get stuck sometimes and I have to save and load to fix it but as for freezing I have not seen a fix for it :( I LOVE THIS GAME! FIX IT PLEASE!!!

Drawn: Trail of Shadows
 –

Loved it

This is a pretty short game but full of entertaining puzzles. They aren't super challenging but they are fun and diverting and nice to look at. An especially nice feature is the storybook pages that pop-up every once in awhile with quirky actions to carry out and puzzles to solve. Creative, positive, and a pleasant way to while away a few hours.

The Book of Unwritten Tales
 –

Fun story

This game is really good for several reasons: it has many chapters and levels (it lasts longer than many comparably priced games), the graphics are great and the characters and storyline are actually very appealing. The puzzles are feasible - nothing insane or requiring cheats, but sometimes causing enough perplexity to be challenging. On the whole, I'm glad I purchased it.

Atlantis: The New World
 –

Very strange

What a bizarre game - confused, chaotic storyline with forays into Siberia and Baghdad from Egypt, talking dolphins floating around in crystal skulls, magical hearts - sheesh. A little challenging, nice graphics, but it's a weird jumble of unrelated-seeming stories and puzzles.

Amerzone

Really disappointing

Some of the scenes are pretty enough, but as another reviewer pointed out, this game feels like a half-hearted highlight reel from a much larger game. There are several places where you can walk into a room without much detail and without any interactions possible - no entertainment or puzzle-solving value. When I played, a bug prevented me from collecting vital documents as I encountered them; yet, as annoying as this was, it didn't actually hinder me from finishing the game because there are so few objects to find and interact with. All I had to do was randomly apply objects to places where it was clear that an action was possible. Dull and insipid.

Tropical Stormfront

Couldn't right click

I tried to use the "control-click" to move the tank to the transport carrier, but it only gives me a White egded rectangle and does see the transport below. This has happened on both of the "Stormfront" games. I hate this.
