Door Kickers got an update. Patch notes are as follows:
Hello, Troopers!
It’s time for the arrival of SWAT snipers and Shield Troopers, all part of Alpha 8.
Alpha 8 completes the class system in Door Kickers, with all 5 classes being available for use. Each brings a different approach to the tactical picture and its up to you to decide how to mix them. * Pointman - fast movement and first to shoot, an excellent choice for first man through the door. Unless its a trap, in which case its better to send in the ... * Shield - Excellent protection from the front but poor accuracy and rate of fire. Needs his flanks protected and can’t breach doors. * Assaulter - Excellent firepower at medium to long ranges but may have trouble in tight corners and when handling doors. * Breacher - Quickly brings doors down when noise is not an issue, and packs quite a lot of close-range firepower. * Stealth - Silent and deadly but vulnerable at long range.
Its not by accident that snipers are not mentioned in this list as they are an off map asset. They don’t deduce from your manpower and you have limited control over them.
Alpha 8 also brings a little bit of trooper evolution - they will get XP and rise through ranks. While we work on the perks that will be unlocked by this evolution, we’d like to hear from you how far you manage to get your troopers before they die!
What is New and Important in Alpha 8 of Door Kickers: - Features: - Shield trooper class - Snipers (off map asset available in select missions) - Windows - Troopers gain XP and advance in rank (though nothing to do with that, yet!) - Better enemy AI + pathfinding - Added "open replays folder" option + replays file name - Improvements on trooper control
Fixes: - Trooper statistics are no longer updated after watching a replay - Less sounds overlapping in replays - Stealth Class no longer kicks doors - Silenced weapons are no longer heard through walls - Flashbang target no longer resets to default when setting a gocode - Fixed a bug where a dead trooper would not be replaced - Fixed a bug where completing HostageRescue on a mission with more than 1 rescue zone would not end mission - Fixed playing "Aborting" sound after shotgun-breaching a locked door - Fixed a couple of crashes, tweaked some stuff and in general improved the game in too many ways to mention here.
Enjoy!

Max is a Pain
A fan of the original Max Payne, I purchased this game via Steam. That purchasing decision was itself a mistake because I am not a fan of the Steam system findng it crash-prone and difficult to manage. But how bad could it be, ehh? Bad enough it seems. Not even the use of Bullet Time can make this game very playable. Although the storyline is compelling and the graphics are extradinarily excellent, the mechanics of gameplay are difficult to manage. It's video console origins are all to obvious. The aiming point of your weapons is this little red dot that is often impossible to locate on the screen and the use of 2 mouse buttons to shoot is frustratingly hard even with bullet time. And to add further distaste, you are required to register on Rockstar's version of a social media site and reveal personal information. Max Payne 3 is just another example of the sad decline of computer gaming. UPDATE: After struggling with this game I finally figured out that it has another major fault which is now listed on the game description (It was not when I orginally purchased the game). Max Payne 3 is not compatible with an Intel 4000 graphic chip under Mountian Lion or Mavericks. The graphic incompatibility results in large black blotches that appear on your screen.
In my opinion „Don't Starve" is a great game for dope evenings, cause you can do everything. For example build some farms and machines. So, I really enjoyed!
Mac book pro i5 16 gb ram intel 3000 mavericks. Crashing repeatedly when I try to load the second area in the game. After I drain the water from the room, the loading screen starts, then it crashes. For the 15 minutes it worked, the game was great. My PS3 controller was working with it as well. Without the crashing, I would give it 5 stars.
I love Sim City. It's one of my favorite games. I bought this game because I thought it would give the same sort of interaction. While it was enjoyable, and did have the same "building city" simulation, it wasn't what I was looking for. I was missing the zoning (residential etc.) and leadership aspect of the game
This game is a lot like your typical farm time management game. The difference here is that you must change and upgrade your farm to meet the requirements of the television series you are featured on.
This is my all time favorite game. I play this for hours and hours on end. The game allows for all kinds of players to find their way of playing: build houses, make huge families, rule the world... for the most part, anything you can think of.
Democracy is a really well developed game with great graphics and usability. But after you try different countries, you realize they are all the same and the challenges, problems and options become repetitive. I would not buy a 4th game if launched.
I really enjoyed this final chapter of Deponia Saga. It offers everything a point-click gamer would love: great graphics, funny characters, and hours of entertainment. Highly recommended if you liked the first two chapters!
This second part of the Deponia Saga fits all the requirements for spending a few hours of complete fun. Graphics, characters, dialogues and puzzles are great!
I never finished the game. I hoped something more like Broken Sword, well, maybe I had too many expectations. Bad graphics, bad dialogue lines. Pretty boring indeed.
