Fan of adventure games that give me a lot of playtime. This one started with a weak intro, that oddly enough, felt choppy, and as if it were a last minute tack on. Immediately I feared a "lemon." But once I actually got into the game I was hooked. This adventure game had easy controls which made the game feel intuitive. Graphics were fine, music could be turned low so that I didn't miss a single nuance of dialogue. Best part? The puzzles and storyline made sense.
You get what you pay for: a simple story with some atmosphere, a couple of puzzles, decent play and available hints for a couple of seemingly random connections.
I didn't really play this game for very long - I found the combat system pretty cumbersome and unweildy so decided to go outside and play with my neighbours cat instead.
It's everything you love in Tropico 3 and has new buildings and features. A new less annoying side kick helps. Also, I enjoy the different world events that make you chose a side. Great game :)
Why is this game series so frustrating? SC4 was amazing! Everyone keeps comparing this one to SC4 and it surpasses in many way and falls short in some ways.
Pros: Customization! I love being able to add on to police etc. I love how you can upgrade roads and make curved roads. Very fun
Cons: SMALL MAPS!!! also, NO SUBWAYS! NO CITY ORDINANCES, NO CHANGING OF THE LAND, AND lastly... NOT ENOUGH REAL LIFE BUILDINGS AND COMPANIES
It's the same idea as all the other Civ games. However this time, you get to customize what your religion does. I love that you get to change the bonuses depending on your civ.
Cons: I would like more customizing example: I love how on the PS3 version, when you were the first to discover a major plain or river, you got to name it. That would be a great thing to bring to the PC/Mac world.
I thought this game would be more fun. It's ok but, I wanted more. I think the thing that is the most unrealistic is the fact that the game wants you to lower your prices when the economy goes down. I live in NY, do you think the MTA lowered their price when the economy crashed? No, in fact, the raised their prices.
I want to set my price and focus more attention on expanding and building rather then having to keep adjusting my prices but, thats just me.
Not so much for adults. Very basic platformer, with a strong Star Wars vibe of course. I think you need to know the movies to get the most out of this game, and you need to be a child in order to enjoy the gameplay.
I found it very bland and not very exciting. I think some character voices would have helped quite a bit.
I also found the beginning of the game quite confusing. Apparently you had to find the entrance to the first Episode, although no explanations were given.
After managing to go through the original by manually fixing the saved game glitch after every chapter I just couldn't take it with the DLC. It just doesn't make sense that such a well done game with massive success doesn't get the basics right. I guess I won't know what happens if my choices are different on the next season because my saved games are somewhere in limbo. The 2 stories I went through were okay but nothing as emotionally engaging as the first one, I wonder if the glitch will be solved for the sequel at least? Telltales can sure tell stories, but what a bunch of jokers as programmers!
