My 2011 MBA runs at 1.9 GHz, below the system requirements. There were no performance issues, and the fan did not come on right away. Sometimes when the system resources are stained a bit, the computer heats up a lot. That was not the case here; there are no problems to report.
Its a quicker paced real estate game that keeps you on your toes. You have to deal with your budget, flipping houses, and keep on finding the next great deal to make more money.
I found this game to be very addictive. I like that you can level up and take on quests. There are countless dungeon levels to play on, and you can always return to the same dungeons for more combat. The only part that seems repetative are the quests. Those are practically the same style, just with different foes and items to collect.
I have this game on the XBOX 360 as well, but for the Mac version, it plays extremely well on my late 2013 model MacBook Pro. It has enough variation in gameplay that it keeps me engaged for hours on end!
Really fun, and it truly is a step ahead of the previous simcity.
I really like how the cities withing your own game become connected makes the games a lot more realistic which for me is quite enjoyable. There is always a different approach to the cities and they can benefit the rest of your game.
