Pure Enchantment

I have this beautiful game on my iPad Air. The colours and the music are enchanting and the whole concept is original and intriguing. Not a game to hurry through and it does make you puzzle and think hard!

In depth but approachable

I am a huge World War II fan, and this game is really unique. I love the in-depth battle mechanics and the ability to trick your enemies. This game adds a whole new level of mechanics that makes you feel like you're really there.

The campaign has fantastic cut-scenes that add a whole story line to the plot. I was really intrigued when I played through the first time. The number of units, while not wholly impressive, is still solid. You can research and advance your units to make them stronger as well.

Overall, one of my favorite World War II games!

Tropico 5
 –

Not overley impressed

The game is nice, but its only a slight improvment from Tropico 4, but only in some areas, new players would love it, but not worth an upgrade, like iPhones..

Black & White 2

Great concept, gameplay and graphics

I used to play this from when I was 10 to when I was 14 and it was always one of the great games I remembered. Now I had the chance to play it again with better graphics thanks to updated hardware I'm hooked all over again. The game looks amazing, gameplay is spot-on and the game gets hard very fast. The creature is a nice addition to the god game. There are influence borders outside of which you can't interact with the world. Direct influence in combination with indirect influence lead to having to think out of the box. It's a timeless and brilliant addition to the God Game genre.

Fun in a tank

This is a nice game of tank fighting where one can really vent by levelling just about everything in sight. There's plenty of action and a bit of retro feel to it, especially with the A-Team theme song -like menu music. Definitely worth a few bucks.

Tesla Effect: A Tex Murphy Adventure
 –

Takes me back

I was fortunate to play earlier Tex Murphy games when they first came to the Mac many years ago. They were so ahead of their time. Today, this new episode is more nostalgic but still provides a challenge. I've played 3rd person games so much that when I went back to this 1st person game, I got a little nauseous from rotating around a bit too much. I'm slowing getting used to that. The humor and good voice-acting really makes a difference. Recommended.

Borderlands 2: Game of the Year Edition
 –

Great game, epic series.

Been playing Borderlands a long time before I bought this 2nd title of the series. I must add to it that it's one of the best series I've ever come across. Even the latest addition to the series, Borderlands The Pre-Sequel is a good game.

Finally I'd really like to quote "Buy it if you really are an FPS freak, & like to hang around with your friends online".

Might & Magic X - Legacy Deluxe Edition
 –

Averagely good one. Certainly not the best.

The game itself, being a part of the legendary series, is not at par with it's predecessors. However, it does a have a bit of interesting RPG nature still attached to it.

So, for those who don't care about the past ones, you must try it out atleast. Not sure if you'd be able to sit it out completely(yeah, you may call it a challenge), but I am sure you'll like what the game has to offer as a whole.

realMyst: Masterpiece Edition
 –

Best Ever

Myst was the first PC game I ever played and I don't know of any that compares. I loved the sequels but realMyst on my Mac was almost like doing it all over again only better. Thanks and I hope there will be more for Mac users.

Lovely little game

I've really enjoyed every minute of this game. The challenge is reasonable and motivating. Graphics are pleasing to the eye and the background music is really good. The little shifts from straight match 3 play keep it interesting throughout.

Check this out!

I really like this game. Just about the time you think you will lose all your money, it hits a big one. This happens on all four games, some sooner than others. It will keep your attention for hours.

Mahjong Dimensions Deluxe

Almost there

I like the 3D aspect of the game. There just doesn't seem to be enough tiles to keep you going for long like in regular mahjongg.

7 Wonders: Magical Mystery Tour
 –

Good fun

I see where this could become addictive. The one thing I would like to see, not only in this game but all others, is the ability to play again under the same name and compare scores for each game.
Playing under a different name still does not compare scores, the object of points and awards is to see who can reap the most.

Work those men.

Loved the Cradle of Rome series, and this is the same with different people and landscapes. I expect to see a Cradle of Hawaii, Turkey, Austria, etc, etc. I will play them all.

Okay

Not as well written as some others in this category, but still fun. Story line needs punched up a bit.
