This came in a package special with a bunch of other titles that, according to the gamestore app said would function on my computer. Turned out most didn't or functioned only for a short while. Not happy and will not buy any more "packages."
Loved the game, hated the controls. Console controls are so much easier than computer controls on a game where timing and tight margins of movement are an issue.
That said, it was a long, story led game. I love story led games. My computer is now too "old" to play the new tomb raiders. Am considering going console for all of the above reasons.
Love the game, hate the fact that parts are fed out SO slowly and in increments. Hard to keep the story thread that way. And since this is structured around story line that is important. I think Telltale has too many irons in the fire, and it shows. They will probably spin out of control and die because they can't put games out in a timely manner. If you liked this game style (decision based) try Life is Strange. Great story line, and all parts are available now.
Having played the Walking Dead (also by Telltale Games) I guess I was expecting a lot. Though I liked the amount of participation, the quality of moral choices seemed lacking. The storyline was alright as well, but really not that engrossing. Additionally the length of time between episodes was too long. The last episode was very short and not remotely the titillating ending I expected of a game that is supposed to come out with another season.
I am fed up with paying $10 or more for a game that I can beat in a couple of hours or less. Not so here. The puzzles were good, the graphics wonderful, and the story engrossing.
Puzzles were fantastic, moves not terribly difficult to execute, auto save allowed me to not become too frustrated, and the story line was wonderful. Not many games anymore offer this much play time. A definite winner. Just wish the next Tomb Raider hadn't been over specs for my computer.
I really enjoyed the interaction between the main character and her sidekick. Long gameplay, and the story having two possible endings was a plus. Will there be an episode 3 after all these years? If there is, I will be onboard.
I would love to play this game, as it is an intruguing concept, but it crashes constantly. If I could move past a certain point I might get somewhere. The walkthrough was written for a windows version that was obviously cut down considerably by the maker for the mac version (quick sale, then run) and there is NO HELP from them. Don't waste a dime on this one.
Not certain if it was me or the game, but in this third episode I found places where I was genuinely lost. I had no idea what to do next. Nothing seemed logical. Perhaps it was bouncing back and forth between two characters, but the story line seemed fractured more. Hope last episode makes up for this one. Did answer some questions, but with illogical or maybe just really unexpected (fabricated) results.
Finally found a game company that creates an adventure game that really has a thorough story line. I loved it. And though the gamestore app said my mid 2010 Macbook Pro coulnd't play it (shy of the required 512 MB video) it could—excellently. Not a hiccup in video play ever through the whole first season.
I was slighly disappointed in 400 days. It seemed sewn together out of bits and pieces left over from someones storyboard. I hope it has some value to season 2, but for the price I guess I shouldn't complain too much.
Fan of adventure games that give me a lot of playtime. This one started with a weak intro, that oddly enough, felt choppy, and as if it were a last minute tack on. Immediately I feared a "lemon." But once I actually got into the game I was hooked. This adventure game had easy controls which made the game feel intuitive. Graphics were fine, music could be turned low so that I didn't miss a single nuance of dialogue. Best part? The puzzles and storyline made sense.
