Edge of Reality: Mark of Fate Collector's Edition

Decent Game with Good Graphics

I just finished playing this game and it was good. Graphics or cut scenes are good. Though not a great game it is a good value for the price of $13.99. Game is a little on the short side. I bought it because it is one of the few HOG games that will play on my mac.

Portal of Evil - Stolen Runes Collector's Edition
 –

Nice graphics and decent story line

I bought this game on black friday sale and found it to be reasonably satisifying. Graphics are beautiful and the storyline is good. It is a combination of HOG and 1st person player. There is a nice surprise at the end. The game can offer about 2 nights worth of game play or one night if you are really determined to finish it.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

Great game and great price!

Just finished this game and It is very good with good graphics. Even though the game is old it is still very good. Obviously if you have played it you might want a newer game. I picked up the game for $9.99 and it gave me about 2 weeks of continual gameplay. It has a different feel to it than the Witcher game which is also very good. If you can wait awhile a $50.00 game can be purchased for $10.00 or even $5.00. Game difficulty is about right with many challenging battles. I only consulted a walk through a couple of times when I got stuck but for the most part I solved most of the puzzles on my own. The game is a worthy purchase if this is the first Star Wars game you are going to play.

Surface: The Soaring City Collector's Edition

Nice graphics though game is a little short

I just played this game since it is january and there is not much to do these days. I liked the game-I think it deserves 3 and 1/2 stars but rating system only allows a 3 or a 4. Graphics are nice and puzzles are typical for an hog game. The storyline is good though the game is on the short side. Maybe for most people it will give them two nights of play and for a hard core gamer he or she might complete it in one night. Overall decent game.

Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs
 –

Short but worthy game

I just finished playing this game and the graphics and special effects are great. It is not nearly as long as lets say the Witcher or other first person games but it is different. You cannot fight the monsters-only run and hide. That makes it different and interesting. I did not play the first Amnesia game so I can only tell you that I liked this game a lot.

Tesla's Tower: The Wardenclyffe Mystery
 –

Bargain at $9.99 for a good game

This game has wonderful graphics and provides about 3 days of play time if you play for 3-4 hours a day. The puzzles can be difficult to solve but their is a skip function. I was a able to solve about 1/2 of them. It is a game in the same genre as the old Myst or Riven games were. You are a distant relative of Nikola Tesla and you must solve the problems with his experiment gone awry. I like this game since it is not a shoot and shoot game. Those can get tiresome at times. There is no multiplayer since it is not a shooter or auto racing game. I think that people will enjoy it. Only drawback is that the game is short lived. The Myst, Riven and others from Broderbund have a longer play time with more difficult puzzles to solve. Those games needed a lot of help from online walk throughs. An enjoyable game for not too much money.
