I bought this game through PopCap a while ago. I was SOOOOOO angry and frustrated with it that I called both Hasbro and contacted Pop Cap to complain and see if the issues could be remedied. They can't. Here's the scoop: the computer uses place names and proper names, words that originate in other languages...if I use a place name, proper name, tribal name, other language word that should be allowed, according to ITS style of play, but it isn't in their dictionary, it isn't allowed. Period. Even if the word can be found in the dictionary (Merriam-Webster's online dictionary), I can't use it. There is no way to get around this. In addition, words, like lilo, that are NOT in the Merriam-Webster's Dictionary, the computer uses, and, again, there's nothing I can do about it. I don't like the fact that it seems the computer can get away with certain words, but I can't use words that would be allowed if I was playing the non-computerized game, or in the same vein the computer is playing in.
