RTS, as you've never seen one! You can take that literally. With that sentece, I really ment that there is no other RTS where you can compare this one with. Oxeye created a whole new dimension of RTS gameplay with this game.

What are the differences between H:ME and the standard RTS? Well, to begin with, it's a very simple concept. There are only 5 different buildings, one resource to build those buildings with, and there are no units. That gives you only one option: turtelling.

What is turtelling? You defend you're base with a defensive line. As soon as your base can't expand within these lines, you need another defensive line, and expand your base again. This is one of the most defensive way of playing RTS games.

But it's the only way to play H:ME. You can't attack your enemy. The enemy comes to you, and you'll have a hard time defending yourself against your enemy.

There are different game modes that will expand the gametime a lot. And they added some extra goals to reach. Altogether, you get a pretty good and very original game for a low price. You'll defenately have a lot of hours fun with this game.
