  2. Machine empires are cool
    by anabwana, Finland - May 29th 2018

Empires ruled by machines are a fascinating idea that fits well into the game. Previously it was undeveloped and half-hearted but this expansion fixes that.

  3. Great DLC
    by Jkr013, Greece - May 28th 2018

Highly recommended with good new additions and mechanics, but a sale will always be a good time to buy DLC's!

  4. I believe the robots are our future...
    by Torvanyr, Denmark - Apr 21st 2018

Do you want to play as a robot empire whose only desire is to collect all sentient species and care for them in elaborate little utopian colonies? Those silly humanoids don't need freedom, they just need to be saved from their own worst impulses. Or maybe you want to assimilate other species into your cyborg collective? Or maybe all non-mechanical life forms are inferior and need to be purged? Whatever floats your boat, this DLC will expand Stellaris with plenty of additional content, options and challenges. If you enjoy Stellaris, this just makes it even better.

  5. Bip bop
    by Gianpietro U., Italy - Apr 13th 2018

"Destroy biological live this is the only porpouse of our existence". Did you think this sentence is strange? Try this new expansion and probably It becames One of your nightmares.

  6. Stellaris gets bigger and better
    by Migol, Poland - Mar 21st 2018

And this DLC is making a fine example of what would be expected from a DLC. New races, new options to create, Synths being quite different from what you have seen before. Yes, very much a must have for Stellaris fan.

  7. Resistance is futile
    by Lexkun, Germany - Mar 18th 2018

It's worth already just to be able to create some machine empires to play against.

  12. A great and fun expansion if you like robots
    by Air H., Latvia - Feb 3rd 2018

This expansion allows you to play as a special type of an empire- a machine empire. There are 3 unique types of them (Rogue Servitors, who are basically machines keeping people as pets and making sure they are happy; Driven Assimilators, who want to assimilate other beings into their hive-mind and Determined Exterminators, who just want all biological life to die. Machine lives are cool though) and one standard type, which is is pretty fun in itself. It also adds advisor voices (which are nice and add a bit of flavour), new machine portraits and a Fallen Machine Empire. I'd recommend getting this story pack if you want to primarely play as a machine empire, otherwise it is just a bit of flavour and not necessary at all.

  13. Good story add on
    by odyhunter, Ireland - Jan 22nd 2018

Good story add-on, but wait for a sale to get it... this is just a DLC for machine, not an expansion.

  14. One of the best DLC so far
    by Vinc D., France - Jan 4th 2018

An excellent DLC for Stellaris. Less content than the Utopia DLC but it is definitely worth it !

  15. DLC for a few
by Miltiadis Apostolidis, Greece - Dec 22nd 2017

Although this DLC is certainly more useful than the Plantoids one or the latest one about the Humanoid ships it still only adds stuff concerning robotic-cyborg empires. If you' re not interested in playing as one of those things then you really shouldn't buy this one unless its on a big sale.
