Uncover the dark secret of Columbia

Indebted to the wrong people, with his life on the line, veteran of the U.S. Cavalry and now hired gun, Booker DeWitt has only one opportunity to wipe his slate clean. He must rescue Elizabeth, a mysterious girl imprisoned since childhood and locked up in the flying city of Columbia. Forced to trust one another, Booker and Elizabeth form a powerful bond during their daring escape. Together, they learn to harness an expanding arsenal of weapons and abilities, as they fight on zeppelins in the clouds, along high-speed Sky-Lines, and down in the streets of Columbia, all while surviving the threats of the air-city and uncovering its dark secret.
  • The City in the Sky. Leave the depths of Rapture to soar among the clouds of Columbia. A technological marvel, the flying city is a beautiful and vibrant world that holds a very dark secret.
  • Whip, Zip, and Kill. Turn the city’s Sky-Lines into weaponized roller coasters as you zip through the flying city and dish out fatal hands-on punishment.
  • Tear Through Time. Open Tears in time and space to shape the battlefield and turn the tide in combat by pulling weapons, turrets, and other resources out of thin air.
  • Vigorous Powers. Throw explosive fireballs, shoot lightning, and release murders of crows as devastatingly powerful Vigors surge through your body to be unleashed against all that oppose you.
  • 1999 Mode. Upon finishing BioShock Infinite, the player can unlock a game mode called “1999 Mode” that gives experienced players a taste of the kind of design and balance that hardcore gamers enjoyed back in the 20th century.

This has all the traits of previous Bioshock, including really creepy plots elements, but set in a beautiful city in the clouds. Looks great on a good systems.

  3. An absolute gem!
by Adam Burford, Australia - Nov 18th 2013

Fun game play in a wonderfully created and absorbing world. The story is very compelling and only deepens as you go. Elizabeth is hands down one of the best female characters I've ever seen in a game; three dimensional and complex. Nor did her character impact negatively on game play. Loved this game.

  4. Best of The Series!!!
by Nicola Manocchio, Italy - Nov 17th 2013

This game is probably the best one of the entire Bioshock series!!! We switch from the dark and ocean-deep Rapture to the shiny flying Columbia. But if you think life here is happier, you're very wrong. Plasmids are replaced by Tonics, two political factions are fighting a deathmatch, and a giant robotic bird called Songbird is protecting the "Lamb of the Prophet" in Columbia Tower. Pretty disturbing, isn't it? The story is amazing: be prepared for a shocking finale! The only issue with the game IMHO is the gameplay: not in itself, it's always enough funny, but it's the same once again (if you've played another Bioshock game before you won't find anything new here). But all in all, as I said, the gameplay is good, graphics is amazing, and the…oh my, the story….don't let me tell you about it, you have to find for yourself!!! Buy this game, especially now that's only 11.99!!!

  6. Over hyped, yet one of the best games in 2013
    by CTK4, Japan - Sep 30th 2013

I must admit this game got over hyped, but still enjoyed it.

What I didn't like about is that this game is much easier and has less environment than predecessors, kind of calk walking some amusement park.

Yet, this game still has a good atmosphere and story telling, you will never regret buying.

  7. Well done, Aspyr!
    by steez40, Austria - Sep 12th 2013

I personally on my 2012 mbp 8gig ram intel hd 4000 1.1 gig vram have never encountered any problems at all, the port is pretty much perfect!

Gamepad supprot works perfectly, and the Razer Nostromo also doesn´t cause any trouble. This definitly is the mac game of the summer!
