This game could have been excellent thanks to its beautiful graphics and its well-restored mid-19th century atmosphere. Alas the interface is minimalist and without Map, impossible to guess what to do, except in certain obvious cases ! This means that we spend our time pointlessly looking for where to use the clues we find, then using the Hint constantly, for lack of finding the solutions....
Apart from a rather boring start in a modern apartment, the sequel switches to a completely different atmosphere and places. A grandiose sequel, for those who love gloomy and creepy environments... and abandoned hospitals ! The graphics are fantastic and almost photographically realistic. F.A.C.E.S. is really a great game, whose scenario is as elaborate as its illustrations. This game deserves a 8/10 without hesitation.
If you have to choose ONE game, it can only be this one ! A pure masterpiece at all levels. Whether for the story and its characters, its absolutely fabulous graphics, (Among the most extraordinary of all HOGs....) its distressing and creepy atmosphere in a rural and isolated environment. Not to mention its videos played by real actors and perfectly integrated into the images, as well as its cinematic and soundtrack, both excellent. What a fantastic game ! IMHO, one of the three best with "Top Secret Finders" and "Shadow Lake". (This game also exists in CE, contrary to what I wrote by mistake in my comment of the SE....)
After two tries, this game is still a real mystery, unless I'm totally stupid. I bought more than 100 HOG, (Whether from BFG or Mac Games....) and I tried hundreds of others, but this is the first time that I come across such an incomprehensible game. The graphics are sumptuous, but I was never able to exceed three scenes, for lack of UNDERSTANDING what to do : we end up with 19 clues after five minutes of play, but without knowing where to use them, or why we recovered them ! It's absolutely stunning....
An excellent game, without doubt the best of the series. The graphics are magnificent, as are the videos between scenes with real actors, and a very original and perfectly conducted story. The interface is impeccable, with its multiple Interactive Maps, its lowering inventory and its impressive cinematics. Really a great game !

One of the most extraordinary games that the BFG have made ! A pure adventure game without HOS, with magnificent graphics, videos played by real actors, a diabolical scenario perfectly mastered with characters having a real psychological depth, all in a perfectly scary dramatic atmosphere. (Not to mention a cinematic, an interface and a superb soundtrack....) To be ranked among the best BFGs in history and with the best "MCFs", i.e. "Dire Grove", "Escape From Ravenhearst" and "Return to Ravenhearst", (Despite its aberrant Hint set to 5 minutes of loading....) the other titles of the series being to be urgently forgotten.
A game with extraordinary graphics, such as "13th Skull", "Shadow Town", "Fright", "Top Secret Finders", "Mystic Hospital", "The Fog", "Motor Town", "The Missing", etc. An old title like these, yes, but which is part of the best time ! (2009-2015) The one where the BFG still offered splendid games with quasi-photographic illustrations. Not those horrors, excruciatingly poorly drawn and in garish colors, that the Domini Games and other GranMA Studios release since too many years.....
