  1. Best DLC out of the bunch
    by Ryan Villarreal1, USA - Jun 17th 2017

Most of the tropico 5 dlc is pretty blah, but this gives you the most bang for your buck with regards to content. Price is a lil steep for what you get tho. wait for a sale.

  2. A big DLC, with a lot to offer.
by Allie Collins, USA - Mar 13th 2016

This is actually a pretty solid expansion, that offers all sorts of new things. Missions, buildings, vehicles, and so forth, that actually make your island better. People pick on the smaller DLCs for the game, but this is one of the two big ones, so if you play the game, it is worth grabbing this. The most important thing is that some of the buildings are useful, thus you should have them on your island. Worth getting the DLC, if the price is right.

  4. Set sail for fun
    by Batavorn, Netherlands - Jan 15th 2016

The first of two major dlc's for Tropico, together with Espionage. The main features are new sea-based buildings and a new campaign.

Although the missions are enjoyable the new buildings are the real stars of this dlc. Many of them are very useful and change the way you play the rest of the game as well. The fishing trawler for instance is so effective that you never need to build fishing wharves again.

The campaign missions don't really pose much of a challenge for a seasoned presidente so long as you remember to switch islands after every mission. Otherwise some missions might pose challenges you can't face within the available time. Just like in Espionage the campaign can be beaten rather quickly.

  5. House on the water
    by dorugradinaru, Romania - Jun 4th 2015

This is a major DLC for Tropico and give you 9 new buildings that can be builded on water. Tropico is now a city like Dubai, with houses on the water. A new campaign let you become a dictator not only on the ground, but also on the water. I really like the nuclear submarine for the military power and the glass bottom restaurant and the floating apartment for design. This DLC have also 2 new avatar costumes, accessoires, 4 maps… This expansion is very useful and the biggest from tropico.

  6. Major upgrade
    by yuriv, Slovakia - Mar 17th 2015

The first major upgrade for tropico 5 - adds more goodies than small dlcs. mainly new campaign missions, building and vehicles focused on marine and off-shore lifestyle and bussiness. as usually adds some new music and avatar accessories. however, the price is a bit high for the amount of content, i reccomend to buy it in a sale as i did :)
