Jurassic Park: The Game

Jurassic Park: The Game Badge
Jurassic Park: The Game is an episodic adventure in five parts which is set during the events of the first film.

Jurassic Park: The Game begins where the Barbasol can left off: The dinosaur embryos that Dennis Nedry attempted to smuggle from the park in the faux Barbasol can remain missing. A mysterious rival corporation brings in Nima, a professional smuggler with intimate knowledge of the park’s island setting, to retrieve the embryos.

When InGen learns of staff stranded on the island after the park’s collapse, they hire a group of mercenaries to launch a rescue operation. The team arrives amidst the chaos of dinosaurs running rampant, and begins to round up survivors committed to protecting the dinosaurs they created. As this group grows, it soon becomes clear that individuals have competing agendas – and the conflict between the humans becomes as dangerous as the rampant dinosaur threats on the island. The group must ultimately survive confrontations with T-Rex, Velociraptors and other dinosaurs in spectacular showdowns as they look for a way out. Along the way, a new mysterious nocturnal dinosaur threat emerges, stalking the group as they work their way across the island in hopes of escape.

  1. Dinos, story, puzzles, and QTEs
    by DaLejd, Germany - Sep 30th 2017

I enjoyed playing it through. Just a bit too QTE-heavy for my taste, having occasionally felt more like a chore than game-play, even tho I do not mind QTE itself. Not a biggie since there are checkpoints if one fails a QTE-sequence, and after a few failed attempts it gets easier, but wouldn't have minded more puzzles for less QTE.

  2. Good but not great.
    by jaebyn99, New Zealand - Jul 25th 2017

This is a good Telltale games title but it is a step down from others such as TWD, TWAU, Tales from the borderlands and game of thrones. I would recommend buying only if you've played all the other telltale games and need more.

  3. Worst game of Telltale
    by Wendy B., Netherlands - Jan 7th 2017

I had hoped, as I'm a big fan of the Jurassic Park movies and the telltale games, that this game would give me the feeling that I'm really there, that I would participate in dino-action ;). Well, it did not. The game is laggy, consists of mostly qte which don't respond that well, and the animations are kinda bad. I finished the first chapter (with much reluctance), and I just couldn't get myself to play the rest. How much I love telltale, I cannot recommend this game. It really is the worst game they've made.
